I always remember Linz as the first place I bought anything with the Euro. It was about 11:45 AM on Tuesday the 1st January 2002, and I spent 2.80 Euro for a day ticket for the Linz bus and tram, out of my "Startpaket" which I bought for 200 Schilling, yielding 14.54 Euro all in coins. The vending machine was already converted for use with Euro as opposed to Schilling. In Schilling, the fare would be 40 ATS, the same as in Salzburg, with about a 13.76 ATS to one Euro rate.
Sehr interessant die alten Bilder zu sehen. :-D
That´s a cool Video. 1991 i was 18 years. Thank you and greetings from Linz
