Heads up, you can have 2 coffins. One wood, and one stone. Keep stone one at your base, when about to attack a boss, you can possibly locate an open spot plop down a heart, blood it, and drop your wood coffin. Now you have a much closer respawn point if it goes bad and you die. BE SURE to destroy those temp spawns after you beat said boss.

That’s a boss tip. I was just asking a question in the main comments about what is the strategic use of another castle heart besides building another castle. This is a great tip to me in consideration.

@@beefjerky2372 If you don't fuel it with blood it will just fall apart after a day or so.
1:02 its important that new players know these mining 'nodes' respawn and in doing so they're randomized. So a stone node might become a copper node the next time it spawns. Or a copper can respawn as a gemstone or simple stone even. The important thing is that you have node nearby to harvest and if it's stone mine it and it might reroll as a copper or something better than stone.
Also the ruin walls give way more stone than a stone node or even 4+ stone nodes will.

It's not just mining them either. I had 3 iron nodes next to my main base, but I've come back to it and there was like 1 iron + 2 copper; so they can randomize if you're "out of zone" I think.

@@Cipher_8 We're on a friend's private dedicated server. I'm the only one stationed in Dunley Farmlands, everyone is down south, and I know for a fact they didn't.

This is something that Demone Kim failed to mention but it is really important regarding floors. The "In Confined Castle Room" bonus will always be active if the station is placed inside your castle walls (with any floor and a roof). In order to get the "Matching Floor" bonus, you need to place them in their own room (placing a door frame with no door is fine). Just placing the floor itself will not work.
Yeah, you can create a bunch of 'cubbies' or 'cubicles' for your stations with empty doorways and a distinct 'matching floor' in each cubby.

@@drewbienewbie03xx81 except he also made this mistake and placed the blood presses in the workshop when it's an alchemy station...
When building on a hill make sure to block any ramps with gates. I built my base on a hill with only one ramp and someone boxed me in by building walls between me and the ramps.

@@Kodiah- pressed shift to jump down. but i had to unlock the waygate and build it from the ground below to get back up to get my stuff and to remove the castle heart. such a pain.

This one would mainly be for the guys starting on PVP servers, build the castle heart in an enclosed room with 1 entrance, it'll be alot harder to get to for someone to destroy it or to capture it using the keys that are available.
A tip for Tristan the Vampire Hunter who unlocks the blood essence to greater blood essence recipe, if you follow him his path goes by an area that has an indestructible rock and tree, when I went after him I used that terrain to kite him. I recommend getting the chaos travel ability first though. His fire bomb has a wide area and he has a jump slash he uses that deals high damage so being able to create some distance between him and you will help a alot
Corrections:
dont eat hearts turn them into essence which you can later “upgrade” into higher essences.
Dont kill your prisoners, feed them to keep them healthy for unlimited 100% blood quality on tap

Another good starting location idea is near where multiple opposing factions patrol. So what happens is, you sit inside your castle and the militia and bandits patrol the road outside. They fight each other and leave loot after the battle. Great early game loot for free.
You can feed prisoners to lower their misery level and heal them so you don't really need to replace them over time

I started playing this game yesterday, and so far I am really enjoying it. Took me a while to figure out I did not have to stand there at the crafting station to process wood or ore. LOL
The word "Brazier" is prounounced "bray-zure" (it rhymes with "sure"). The way you're saying it is brassiere, which is what the word 'bra' is short for.
So many people are saying it this way and it's hilarious

@@marvelgurl1012 i haven’t seen a single video where someone has said it correctly, like i can understand not knowing how to pronounce it but it should be fairly obvious that pronouncing it brassiere which is a bra is wrong.

The starting area is very forgiving in matter of materials. There are clearly marked zones you can farm your starting resources which are easy enough to reach and you'll come back with a haul that'll last you until you're ready to move on, and since you already need to do your little tour to unlock spells and technology you're on course for it already, maybe you'll just need to do a second tour later on and specially if you want to develop your castle properly.

Another early game tip is you could use the crafting table (furnace, sawmill etc) to keep stuff early on if you don't have enough materials for chests
I mean it takes 5 minutes of logging to get all the wood you need for all the chests you want, also you'll 100% get confused and have to look around everytime you need something previously stored lol

mist brassiere sounds so elegant and light on the skin
as far as prisoners, you can make there misery go down, the higher the misery the higher chance of more damage being dealt when you take their blood. When you go to the iron prison you can place, its two different type of fish you can get. Be really careful when you get a 100% blood type prisoner. Every time you take their blood is a roll on how much damage they take, only a problem when its gets to like 40% or more.
If you have prison flooring you can take from them until 120% as long as they have full health
You can save materials by making a small crypt that can only fit 2 coffins at a time. Place the empty coffins there to fill them and move them after the converting is complete to get the best of both worlds. With the vampire hunters you can get help by looking for treants or golems near theere pathing ponts. Pulling them into each other so that they hit each other then dash away so you can watch them fight and save yourself for once the fight is over.

1 thing: a bray-seer is something a sexy lady wears when she is happy with you. A bray-zee-er is a device for burning shit. Well not shit. I guess you could but it might be smelly. You know what I mean. Anyway it made me chuckle!

Biggest tip I can give is if you're playing on a PvE server, make sure you claim land all the way to a road so you can't be locked in and griefed.
Most definitely claim the territory where the stair ramp entrance accesses are if up on the flats so you can expand your territory and not be locked in but have access to expand your area.

I hope the devs do something to improve the longevity of this game, once you complete everything and the server wipes or you move servers, nobody is going to want to progress through every boss again and start from scratch. It works for Rust because progression is quick and skips many stages compared to v rising.

I have been looking for whetstone’s for a week now and that’s what’s my biggest hold up
I finished the game and I want to help following things: [please fix this one or make a video regarding those info]
1. Is importanta to have building area good.
2. Is important to have waygate close early game.
3. You have 2 castle heart, you can place 1 for later and move base in another location.
4. You need only 1 castle heart to cover the area.
5. You have a lot of zones with a lot of resurces like iron/copper and even gems, you just need to read the map or test them.
6. Mid game farm spot is at werewolf daytime (boss area).
7. You can't capture a werewolf even if you get it as human I tried it and you can only use it for random worker blood or werewolf spawn in another area (maybe is usefull, maybe now).
8. Cursed forest is the only area than can't provide servants.
9. On steam you have 2 guides 1 for bosses and 1 for location area possible cover rate.
10. Move all your stuffs in higher storage, hover with mouse to see amount for each of them.
11. Sometime horse is the worst day to travel, you can kite better with wolf.
12. You have auto run in settings, use it if you want to travel in peace and don't be stressed on long ways.
13. Lockbox's aka Vampire Lockbox is very usefull to hold your 100% blood, rest of materials are eays to find. (because is harder to find a 100% blood than some mats).
14. Unsullied Heart can be farmed on low bosses, I prefer alpha wolf in den because you just tank the wolf and finish him fast. (most eays way is on alpha wolf).
15. If you are at one pvp server you need to find a castle zone hard to raid (golem can't be spawned close to gates, enemy can't escape)
16. Don't make heart exposed because you can craft keys and destroy castles or even take them.
17. If you raid somebody, don't come with only 1 golem if you are not in team.
18. Best way to raid somebody is with 2-3 golems if that castle have shards than are you needed in very late game to make things more eays like trading.
19. DLC matter because you will feel a little bit more happy during gameplay see something nice on your screen, is a mental reward for playing this game.
20. If you don't play this game as a team you can't finish it fast, my record was 2 days with 3 people 0-80 gear level and all bosses.

Oh and don't scrap fishes, collect all of them, send servants for them. If I miss something, for sure I miss a lot of stuffs, comment bellow and help people to have a great game to play and have fun on it.

Rust is just the basic concept of every pvp survival so you can't compare Rust with anything. You can't just compare something that shoots with another thing just because it also shoots. Thats not how it works and not how the logic works.

Keely the archer, LOOT the area. You will get wet stone to make the stone grinder instead of fighting the boss to craft them.

Just started the game yesterday on Memorial Day and had a blast for several hours. Question though is what is the best use of the 2nd Castle Heart? I can imagine using it to build another Castle, but is there some other strategic use. Playing on a multiplayer community server already full with other player.

I somehow missed the Mist Brazier in the beginning and only found out about it when i already had my roof done. Until then i was hugging my walls for dear life
You can stand next to chest and mouse over them and open each one by mousing over them. Instead of walking in-front of each one fyi
I always choose the place at the bottom with the bridge to cross and one back entrance. Me and a friend cap it off and it is a huge space.
I could not care less about the critical mistakes to avoid in this game to be honest. I just enjoy the videos that you are making.

I just used my own server and play pve lol I am having a blast have no friends to play with on this game but still loving it!
Can you pvp at any time on a regular pvp server? I saw in a guide you could only pvp during base raiding times. Is that true ?
i have 100% of each type and fish or send out servants to silverlight docks to gather fish for me and use sage fish or rainbow trout to reduce misery to not have to find another 100% one. Place north of silverlight is perfect to build to gather servants as a 2nd base, silverlight docks, ancient cemetery in cursed forest and north of that are the top 3 places to farm endgame materials off crates and containers.
I see a lot of people carry many different weapons and usually only a couple or all. Is that preference or is it better to only carry like 2 or 3 at a time?
Hey Kim, great video - Quick question: How do you handle 'Tombs' - With bones resources being so important, I cant place them within my castle walls without breaking my roof because they cant be placed on top of a floor tile. Any tips?
You just need a separate room for these without a roof, like a garden
"free dirt tiles" , which means places you havent built anything yet just claimed.
Or garden tiles works aswell
People on my server have them just chilling outside or in their gardens

How come you had blood presses all-over, and not with the alchemy floor? did you just have lots of them from before you had the floor unlocked? I just have workshop and forge floors so far. I got workshop from a boss, but forge floor was a random drop when I was farming.

Technically yes. There are some constraints in terms of build location though

@@lordmech yes it can and u can even make your own server, it takes few second. If u make your own server, u can logout and game will pause until you log back in, kind like an offline RPG. U can play it alone, online on servers, on your server with friends, pve, pvp, hardcore pvp, solo pvp and pve, clan pvp and pve . It is a really good game so far
for 3 even then if you dont want to build 4 grinders or ect or cant
Don't just sit in front of them doing nothing go out and get more mats if its night go out and farm hearts or something
That's what I do, I let my crafting stations run in the background while I do other things.

I just started the game and the quest is telling me to build stiff for the castle. I heard you say we should t focus on that from the start so what should I do? Its the current quest. Its asking me to build castle heart
Yep... I built right away and then when I started getting stuff unlocked. Quickly ran out of space and had to tear it all down and move. :(
