Hi Nurse Audrey, do the patient need to wash their hands before pricking the finger? Or you can just go ahead and prick?
Thanks
It all depends on the patients fingers and how dirty there are. In most cases not really
Hi nurse, Should i prick the patient first before assembling the strip and the glucometer? Or assemble first the glucometer and the strip before pricking the patient?
As per the marking criteria, you have to prick the patient's finger then prepare your strip in the glucometer.
