Sekiro Shadows Die Twice has been out for over a month, and with a couple of Sekiro playthroughs under my belt, I'm finally ready for a Sekiro review. I'm splitting the review into my classic love/hate format like I did for the Dark Souls games in the past with a dedicated video for each part.
I hope you enjoy the video, and if you do, be sure to subscribe for the second half of my Sekiro review, check out my Sekiro boss rankings, and other great gaming content!

I'm going to die If I dont see Zelda soon T_T
I'll still drop a like I just want what I want
Ocarina?
Zelda will be involved, I'll detail it more soon!
theDeModcracy are u gonna do a sekiro mini boss quality ranking?
I'm writing up something of my own but does the game not feel unfinished to you? So many reused assets and bosses, whole areas even. To me it feels like after the combat system was made they removed many artists and animators to work on Elden Ring like 2/3 of the way through asset creation. Also the lack of animations, I was disappointed with just pressing R1/L1 when shinobi tools during boss fights felt too expensive many times and the grappling is never used. You get to deflect lighting twice in the whole game as well, lame. I'm just confused why so many people call this a masterpiece, I say it's like 7/10.
#21: You can pause the game
Jacob Brooks big facts
Beeg true
Bruh it took me hours to actually trust the pausing. I was so happy when I could pause
@@cavemanzach9475 😂 and the music keeps playing too. Scurred me

You should be able to give Kuro sake and then Emma scolds you for getting the kid drunk
The kid is about to sacrifice his own life to save many lives. If there's anyone that deserves/needs a drink, it's him.
that would break a lot of Laws Regarding gaming and stuff
Man, good idea!
Guys it's a joke, don't take it so seriously
Ridiculous,so killing a kid is fine but giving him some sake is a no no? XD
Mastering Sekiro's combat is easily the most satisfying thing ive experienced in a long while

@@sydonix5429 With wit like that I'm not surprised you have more videos than subscribers.

@@PsycheTrance65 I'm ur mom's charm
@@sydonix5429 wow how creative
I like how Sekiro makes a reasonably complex game out of extremely simple systems.
1. Emma being a top tier waifu
She's the only waifu in the game and that's all you need
Jesus Ramirez what about Lady Butterfly and O'rin of the water xD
Matt i aint into wet burritos my guy.
O'rin already has her heart set on a man, so that's a no go. As for Lady Butterfly, if you're into older ladies then yeah, she's perfect.
Divine child? Best waifu... for Kuro :D
What i loved about sekiro is the intense tention that builds up when fighting bosses.
You play too aggressively you die
You play too defensively you die too
Simply said: hesitation is defeat - isshin ashina
my friend that was perfectly said
Yup that's perfect way to sum it up.. too perfect actually
Often times I did really well in fight but something go wrong in the middle, I hesitated, lose my rhythm and get massacred.
People often called it a rhythm game but funny enough that's not only about your enemy rhythm but also your own. Once you panicking and hesitating you'll lose.
On the other hand the combat system is designed in such way that even if you only have a single dot of HP you can actually win if you don't panic. I usually beat the hardest boss by ignoring my health bar or enemy health bar and just focus on attack and parry.
After using a glock on you
Can't wait to see 20 things loved and hated about Elden Ring :)

all in good time, my friend. all in good time.
Itll be longer than that

The voice acting may be great but nothing will every reach the beauty of OCELLOTEEEEEEEE.

How canst thou forget the real deal? ROBERTOOOOOOOOOO
Sekiro is cool but ds man that game i get ya lad. Ocelooooooooot, i always watch that scene before the fight with the consumed king

Gyoubu already topped that though
Best sword combat mechanics ive ever played in a video game. So damn good.
Best sword mechanics? Have you never played Ninja Gaiden? Or Nioh? Those are way better for sword combat. In comparison, this is a sluggish mess for swords.
@@Batman_83 Ninja Gaiden didnt click with me at all at the time, Nioh is strong combatwise, I agree. But I didnt enjoy the game as a whole as much as did enjoy Sekiro.
@@Batman_83 first of all calm down.. i played ninja gaiden 2 and ninja gaiden black and finished them both like 10 times and on mentor and on master ninja, ninja gaiden is a hack and slash game, sekiro's combat system is different you xant compare them
@@Batman_83 I haven't played ninja gaiden, however, I have played nioh, and I have to say that sekiro feels much more polished combat wise. I did miss the ability to do combos though (I loved the odachi in nioh cause of that).
@@Batman_83 Nioh combat system is laughable compared to Sekiro. Sekiro is what Nioh should have been.
13:01 "I wouldnt be shocked" *catches lightning from Genichiro
Gotta' love those small touches
Makes me wonder if it was on purpose
@@4brotroydavis he's clever like that 😅
13:00 when he mentioned the possibility of bosses being weak to a prosthetic that almost no one knows about, I found one the other day. The piercing or improved Sabimaru makes the O'Rin of the Water fight so much easier! Not one video I found on that boss mentioned that.
I know this is a really old comment. But yeah you're right, and the crazy thing is is that it's kind of explained in the lore. O'rin is an okami woman/descendant like the snipers so that's why she's weak to it!
This and the umbrella makes you unable to be grabbed it made me not hate the grabs near as much because at least they have a counter(#hatechainedogre he's before the umbrella 😞)
She’s still a mother fucker on ng+ 7 though. I never beat her on my run charmless and demon bell. Her and god damn snake eyes.
My personal list would be:
1. Bloodborne
2. Sekiro
3. Dark Souls 3
4. Dark Souls
5. Dark Souls 2 Sotfs (despite its problems I actually do enjoy this game)
I've never played the original DS2 or Demon's Souls
For me it was:
1. Bloodborne
2. DS1
3. DS3
4. DeS
5. Sekiro
6. DS2 SOTFS
Really the first 2 pairs are nearly interchangeable with both BB/DS1 and DS3/DeS basically being so close the pairs should fill the 1 and 2 spot. I love them all for different reasons and they would all be in the 9.X/10 range. I’ve found I start to like Sekiro less the more I think about it because the lack of build/weapon variety and reskinned bosses makes me reach for one of the other games first.
A Person DS1 that high is a sin.
@@TitanCrusher101 Why? It's a phenomenal game. It's my second favourite until now, and I just started playing Sekrio yesterday so that might take the 2nd spot, but DS1 is easily in the top 3 for me.
Kilani Playstation DS1 good for its time released? Sure. Play it today, it does not survive the test of time.
Solidus Snake try nioh
A few things I love in Sekiro
#1: The voice acting. All the voice actors use that slow and considered way of reading their lines that FromSoft has become known for. Every line is a dramatic and theatrical reading where you can clearly hear every sound, you can savour every word.
#2: The high pitched metallic clang sound the game feeds back to you when you nail that perfect parry. It sticks in your head and its satisfying as all hell.
#3: The world building. Every area has a story. I especially love that you can find the shed skin of the giant snake draped over a large branch in the early Ashina Outskirts area of the game before you actually encounter it. That coupled with the intermittent earth tremours is great foreshadowing. Also left me thinking "geez how big IS this thing?!" before following up with a "Oh.....that big".
The sound design is perfection, the parry sounds, the grappling hook sounds, the resting and traveling at idols sounds, the sounds when you get important items… not to mention the deathblow sound which is one of the greatest game sound effects ever imo. Even the creepy af sounds of the Headless are insanely good even though I hate them.
14:17 over the top voice acting IMO only counts for the english version. The Japanse voices are fantastic and I suggest people to try it.
The game comes by default in Japanese it is clearly the intended way to play
I played it in English because I didn't want to read subtitles, but I will admit that much of the dialogue sounds much more epic in Japanese
I like the over-the-top English dialogue. It's so ridiculous, yet still feels realistic in the reality of the game
As a weeb.
It had to happen.
oh is that why I didn't understand what was going on here? I should probably play it in English too just to see what's up.
Just gonna put this out there. The Fountainhead Palace is easily one of my favourite areas in a game. Period. The place is downright gorgeous to look at and really makes you feel liike you're in some otherworldly divine palace. The amazing soundtrack fit the place so well. Sombre, beautiful, melancholic, mystical. I love it.
Honestly the only complaint I have about fountainhead palace is that one building where there are nobles eating some okami warriors. I can see it was added to make the area seem kinda sinister, but I prefer the 'divine' feel the area has and for me that slightly took away from it
same that shit felt like a fever dream
#1 love: Sekiro's existence allows demod to make videos about Sekiro.
Bloodborne and Sekiro are probably both the two best games I've ever experienced.
Totally agree! I've never replayed, or put more hours into any game more than these two!
It's honestly been hard to go back to the Souls games after playing Sekiro. Dark Souls 1 and 3 were my favorite games for years, but now when I try to play them, they're just so slow. It's depressing lol. Sekiro isn't my favorite now, but it is the funnest to play.
I'd honestly really like a remake of Dark Souls so the last half of it could be pulled out of development hell.
Also so they could put in omnidirectional rolling. That's the one improvement from later games that seriously hurts not having when I go back to it.
Boy do I got a game for you....
I think one of my personal favorite things about Sekiro compared to other Fromsoft titles is the fact the story is easy to follow. Like I can appreciate and enjoy the story without having to go to CZcams or spend hours reading item descriptions one for "The King's Royal Cockring" to give me important lore reveals
Bloodborne is probably my favorite game too. Loved watching your bloodborne rankings, and still do👊
Bloodborne is probably my favourite game of all time. Awesome. Just awesome.
B l o o d b o r n e
I really enjoy Sekiro I just wish I hadn't watched any boss guides or walkthroughs, it kind of ruined the immersion, 100% my fault though
I watched videos about it because I didn't plan on getting it, but then I changed my mind. Fucking love the game but I really wish I hadn't known so much going in. It wasn't easier because of it but the surprises bosses and locations didn't leave the same impact because of it.
I followed cowboys walkthrough because I hate playing games blind, especially hard games. It's not fun at all in my opinion (mainly because you miss so damn much if you aren't the explorer type of person). But I did do all the main bosses blind because for some reason, I love spending hours upon hours on the same boss grinding away until I finally beat it
I watched like, gameplay videos, of like, Afrosenju and etc (in fact, Afrosenju is the one who convinced me to buy the game...hehe) I didn't look up walkthroughs and boss guides (except a few where I was lost, like in Senpou Temple I got lost, and had to look to Cowboy for help).
Besides that, I've pretty much taken down every boss down myself. It was hell lot of fun!
Same, I watched the Divine Dragon fight. And was sad when I played it
One of my favorite things in sekiro is that size doesn’t matter
You’re like 5 feet tall and you litteraly kill a giant headless ape
You can deflect a giant flaming bull charging at you
I mean come on
"size doesn't matter"
Oh, if only
Something I love about from software's titles is that no matter how many games they make it seems like they don't erase the previous games, they all have something worth returning to
#1 - Emma
The mist royal mini boss is my favorite solely because how random but beautiful song
You summed up what I love so much about Sekiro in those first few points. The combat is rhythmic, yet it keeps you on your toes with the perilous attacks, and the health/posture system rewards playing well defensively, finding openings to deal massive damage, and applying constant pressure all at the same time. These points put together make the combat in Sekiro unrivaled, and for that I love it so much.
I do agree Bloodborne is a masterpiece , this game will be hard to ever surpass
tht games highly overrated, good as fuck, but still way too hyped up for SUUURE
Dyler Turden Over hyped? You’re mental.
@@damnjekyll Fuck no
Bloodborne is amazing, but I think PERSONALLY i do prefer Sekiro a lot. May be a personal preference, idk, but I like Sekiro more. I just couldn't like, get into Bloodborne, fsr, whereas I instantly fell in love with Sekiro.
I would definitely try to complete Bloodborne though, if only once.
@@cosmic2750 for me sekiro in is first playthroug is the best fromsoftware game that you could ever ask, i mean the verticaliti, steal, prostetic arm and all the tools that you have, incredible bosses, the level design for me is not compared to bloodborne or dark souls (for me the best ones in the saga), the lore i feel its more a miss than a hit and I still prefer the bloodborne soundtrack but except for those 3 points everything is top cuality the first time I played the game, now in consecutives runs it gets a little repetitive and becomes the easiest fromsoft game since you have only one intended way to play it and that is what make bloodborne superior for me
Even in this darkest of nights, I see the moonlight.
Great list, as always agree with you completely! You should do a final boss / final dlc boss ranking for all the games that'd be charitably done, dear friend!
The thumbnail says 10 that's because Dmod actually decided to give us 10 extra ones from the original 10 he planned! What an amazing content creator!
Yes...of course...
Bloodborne is obviously my favourite of the series, but I think my favourite Souls game is actually Dark Souls 3. The fan service and references never bothered me because it felt like the game was a "greatest hits" album, so you got a little bit of every previous game integrated in some way. I love Sekiro but I'd probably place it as 4th best, behind Dark Souls, Dark Souls 3, and Bloodborne.
I would agree with you... But sekiro is just better than ds1 in that it's 2nd half gets better rather Than devolving into utter, unfinished rubbish
The ASMR Review Show Hell yes, you and me both brother
I don't see how you could possibly place it behind ds1. The lack of omnidirectional rolling kills it for me. Maybe I'm being too harsh on it but that one thing feels SOOOOO huge to me. Also it runs at sub 30fps on my 360 so maybe that's why.
17:35 Gosh I first played Demon's Souls *years* ago and the Maiden Astraea theme still hypes me up and hits me with the incredible nostalgia... one of the best OSTs, despite it being rather simple.
I'm so sad that the next from software game is not Sekiro 2 or even a DLC for Sekiro. I love this game so much
Dark Souls 1 is still my favorite, despite it's obvious flaws, especially in the second half. It could just be that it was my first From Soft game, but there's just something about it that I can't put my finger on. There's an atmospheric feel to it that I've never quite gotten from any other Souls-like game. It almost feels like the Gods are still imminent in DS1. Bloodborne is my #2 and Sekiro is my #3, and I can't argue that, overall, they are both better made and more consistent games. Bloodborne is one of the best videogames ever made, in my opinion, and it's the best thing From has ever put out. Honestly, I would say Bloodborne is head and shoulders above everything on this list, and I love all these games tremendously! I can say this objectively, even if DS1 is still my personal fav.

Unseen aid never affects you when you really need it. It only affects you when you have 1 coin left and no XP left. I'm joking but this has happened to me before.

@@sheisthemanheisthewoman4016 why was saying no kuro's charm necessary?
@@rikkatogashi0612 because by the time I was on my 5th playthrough I was used to the Isshin fight to the point that I beat him first try on my third. But no Kuro's charm boosts his difficulty so much more than any other boss imo, so much that I spent more time on this playthrough than on my first
It’s been a while Dmod , welcome back.
Nice headband 🔥
5 years later, I'm still impressed by the amazing combat this game has. Mods make the most of the combat system or even add new mechanics, and the prosthetic tools all have multiple uses thanks to the upgrades. Mastering the combat with the prosthetics leaves tons of combo options for visually stunning and very satisfying fights with bosses.
Excellent video as usual! The pacing and flow was great and easy to follow, as were the explanations and energy behind them! Only thing I disagree with is the rankings: worst to best for me: ds2:SotfS, ds1,ds3,ds2,sekiro,bloodborne,DeS. And honestly, ds2,sekiro,bloodborne,and DeS are all pretty even and hard to discriminate between.
Thanks for the kind words on the video! And of course, rankings are always plenty subjective. Maybe I'll do a fan ranking of the game's overall quality sometime

Bloodborne is inferior to Ds3 and way inferior to sekiro I hate saying this but bloodborne is not that good now everything bloodborne Ds3 and sekiro does better
Dark souls 3 is like the worst souls game
I love how even the most simple combat advantage has a reason.
Spear pokes out the worm from the headless ape thanks to its length and extra pike for long reach grabs.
Malcontent working on Demon of Hatred(One armed Orangutan,Sculptor,Sekijo) because that's the nostalgic sound he heard when he was training with his friend at the sunken valley.
The whistle effecting the guardian ape makes sense as the sculptor explains his partner had one. Didn’t even think of that until I just platinumed

for a brief moment I thought you had betrayed me...But thank god, bloodborne is right where it needs to be❤
@RileyManns1 I think it is better than all these games...DS3 is good but mostly uninspired and the 1st half of it becomes a huge chore after 5-6 playthroughs,DS1 is good but "clunky" for nowadays standards and it is not that great after the 1st half and sekiro is very good but I am not a huge japan fanboy! Bloodborne simply has everything:Bosses beautiful areas, lore ,great waepons ,beautiful atmosphere, soundrack ,great quality from start to finish and even after 300 hours I crave playing it a whole lot even without having pvp in mind!
@RileyManns1 Hahaha,I know that pain...It was my first fromsoft game and honestly it took me 3 days to kill the cleric beast. Thankfully I was always keeping me supplied throughout my 1st playthrough! At the end I was farming at Mergos lof middle for souls and I was getting some vials too,and a lot more after lvling up in the dream. I you liked the whole atmosphere I would suggest you give it another shot, knowing of that mistake and I can almost guarantee it will be AMAZING...
@RileyManns1 I would rank Bloodborne so much higher if it wasn't for blood vial farming
@RileyManns1 I rarely had a problem with the Blood Vials. It works with Bloodborne thanks to its fantastic combat, atmosphere, and level design.
The ending of this just made me imagine the sword saint fight with ludwig’s music!!!
Elden Ring hype video DeMod sama. I need it.
18:12 Honestly, the 2nd half of Dark Souls is overhated. It’s really not that bad... heck, I wouldn’t even say it’s bad!! What’s wrong with Nito, Tomb of the Giants and the Catacombs?? They are really well designed areas that experimented with lighting and enemy placement. I can understand why you’d have beef with Lost Izalith because it is literally unfinished, but pretty much everything else is on par with the first half. Are you seriously telling me that Crystal Cave, New Londo Ruins and Kiln of the First Flame weren’t awesome? I mean the first time you jump into the Abyss and fight one of the kings before realising that others will show up too.. how was that not memorable?? Filling the Lordvessel with souls and descending down into the Kiln. Seeing what happens to Siegmeyer and Solaire. Fighting Sif!!! Meeting up with Patches for the first time in the Tomb. Getting locked up in the Archives... c’mon man... all that stuff is far more memorable than most of what happens in Sekiro.
Ive been stuck on Genichiro for a week smh
It took me about 30 minutes but the best tip is to stay on him and be aggressive but deflect when needed, when he jumps and strikes in first phase he will always thrust after so you can mikiri but after first phase he might sweep so just bop his head, hope that helped
And second phase it's kinda the Same just dodge lighting arrow and reflect the lighting sword back to stun him
Owl (Father) has one of the best boss soundtracks in FromSoft’s history. I love his fight, it’s a shame it’s so much work to get it.
My list is the same as yours! If a DLC for Sekiro is made and it improves the depth of the game a bit, I think it could be enough to push it into my number one place.
Sadly the did not
Dude, you should realy play the metal Gear solid series and rank the Bosses cuz let's be honest, they are some of THE BEST Bosses ever made.
I've only played the first Metal Gear Solid, but it's a damn masterpiece. I'll keep it in mind!
When I watch a demodcracy video, I seriously cant tell whether he even likes these games or not. At the end ranking the games, its like he has to decide between a bunch of games in a franchise he doesnt truly love. Which is totally fine by the way, no hate at all. Its just kinda confusing listening to him talking about dark souls 3 and even 1 almost as if theyre frustrating to him, yet the guy does speedrun and challenge runs of those very same games, AND he ends the video saying he loves all of the games...But...you JUST, IN THIS VIDEO, said about at least one of the games that you hate it.
Its the same with the boss rankings. Sure, the bottom 10 on a given ranking will always be bad bosses/areas/enemies, etc. But when you get into the top half and it still sounds like he had a miserable time, thats where I get confused.
you're over thinking
Youre over thinking, thats literally why we love these games. The struggle.
Great video! Always a great way of spending my free time 😁.
Cheers Adam!
Just to try to stay vocal in your comments I’ll say that as far as the video guys, loved it Demod, enjoyed your thoughts on some of the best parts of this game and loved how your points sort of flowed into eachother. As far as my own opinion about something in this game I feel like my most agreed part of this video was probably the games freedom of movement/stealth, I feel as though it added a lot more options for creative problem solving previously unheard of in from games. It made exploring this games interesting world genuinely enjoyable just from a movement perspective which was super great.
I've learn to love sotfs, there are a lot of mechanics it brought to the table that were never seen again, started a ng+ before sekiro and I was surprised how much fun I had with that game, my ranking would be more like this (without ds2 sinds I never played that version)
6- demon souls, I played it but never really got that much into it like the other games
5- dark souls, as much as I love that game, it's more that it was my first experience in the series, amazing but the mechanics didn't age that well, overall still fun
4- ds3, fun and smooth but with me being used to the previous games the dodge rolls became simpler and the game overall was easier because of it, the closing of the games with the ringed city was amazingly done and it's the best part of the game, base game was lacking and short
3- ds2 sotfs, got a lot of playtime into it and yes, there are a lot of useless bosses, but I view it more as a lot of mini bosses, the ng+ changed the game with red phantoms what caused me to be positively surprised, a new experience in the game I already played
2- sekiro, love the sword combat and new play style to get used to, pretty balanced and still really challenging
1- bloodborne, took the stuff I loved from dark souls and improved it by trick weapons, faster step dodge, amazing lore and world building. The old hunters is the best DLC I've ever played in all games. Bought a ps4 because of blood borne
Aaaand there's will be no DLC for Sekiro :(
Though, if Elden Ring will be greater than Bloodborne, I will forgive FS for that
It's just a rumor, I doubt it's true though. Every single one of their soulsborne games (besides Demon Souls) has gotten at least 1 dlc, I bet Sekiro will sneak in some dlc somewhere. Just because Elden RIng is likely coming out in March of 2020 doesn't mean they don't have time to put in dlc, they've worked under these time contraints before with Dark Souls 2, Bloodborne and Dark Souls 3 coming out within 1 year of each other consecutively. If it doesn't end up having dlc though, I think that'll be fine. Elden Ring is supposedly their biggest project yet, and if I know FromSoft, this won't disappoint.
@@androski5247 Well, there won't be a DLC for Sekiro until Elden Ring's release, that's kinda disappointing because I enjoyed Sekiro the most of sekirosoulsborne games (though I think in pure quality DS1 and BB are still better)
Well the story (or lore) will be written by George R R Martin so it's a win for me
But it's also going to be open world so yeah, new waters
@@eshankarnik262 I'm not sure what Miyazaki meant by open world. Did he mean that it will be like the Witcher, so large map with quests, or more like in Dark Souls, so areas that you go through, but you can choose a path (but this time much more complicated)? I hope the second one honestly
@@atijohn8135 From what I've heard, it'll feel kinda like Legend of Zelda. It'll have a large overworld, but it'll still retain the magnificently crafted levels that are seen in previous SoulsBorne games.
I recently found that you could use mist raven feathers to not take damage from lightning but still use the reversal.
This was a great vid Demod I am in agreement with a lot of these as Sekiro was definitely a great game. I have 100% completed it now for the platnium and i loved every second of it. In terms of my favourite From Software game for it has to be Dark souls but I will say in a tied 2nd place for me is Bloodborne and Sekiro. I honestly can't wait to see what the dlc has in store when it is available.
Bro I think you got your Naruto headband upside down
My ranking of the soulsbournesekiro series is:
#6 Demon's souls(the game is good but for me, the other games have been polished soo much that this game has aged)
#5 Dark Souls 1(The game is great but to me, the only truly good boss is Artorias and Ornstein and Smough. The only good level design is Anor Londo and Undead Parish)
#4 Dark Souls 2(The problem about this game is it's just too long and the control is bad but the lore is the best in the game)
#3 Sekiro(The bad of this game is the replayability and the music and the story is subpar compared to the others)
#2 Dark Souls 3(Perfect except for 1 or 2 places level design.)
#1 Bloodborne(Perfect. I love the chalice dungeons and I don't care about frame rate)
I agree with everything except for the dark souls 1 ranking, I would put it in front of DS2
Nik Krevelj It aged so poorly that it has to be ranked lower than DS2.
Great analysis!
I'm curious if you've played the Otogi games, they're a bit old but they show a lot of the foundations for Sekiro, perhaps even more than Souls and Tenchu do.
Great video, I agree with everything you said. Truly an amazing game.
Of course Bloodborne is number 1!!! It is the best!
Radioactive Submarine Gaming Clearly not mate. They are great games never the less. Dark souls 1 had a lack luster second half to bring it down and Demon souls is dated! What’s your opinion on Dark souls 2?
Sekiro is my favorite from soft game but that's only because I don't have a PS4 ;)
Just beat this with the Purification ending yesterday, after slowly making my way through it for nearly a year. It was incredible but I will NEVER PLAY THIS AGAIN
Sekiro has been my favorite FromSoft game yet. Makes me giddy and excited for Elden Ring. They are getting so much better as devs its amazing to see.
1. Bloodborne
2/3. Dark Souls/ Demon Souls
4. Dark Souls Three
5. Sekiro
6. Dark Souls 2
Man I really hate From Software right now. Don't get me wrong I have a lot of love for Miyazaki and everything he's worked on over the last 10 years, but speaking from the perspective of an xbox owner, I can safely say I'd MUCH rather have Bloodborne than Sekiro. All we have is the Dark Souls trilogy and as someone who has been desperate for another soulslike experience, Sekiro just didn't deliver for me. Its still a great action game and actually improves on the souls formula quite a bit, but its not the kind of game I'll be playing years from now.
Sekiro isn’t supposed to be like a souls game
@@samedwards0134 I know that and like I said, Sekiro is still a great action game. Its just not what I was hoping for.
Dildo Waggins i personally think its a great step forward into making games with much better combat mechanics and movement
Elden Ring will be multiplatform and it will be an RPG.
@@samedwards0134 I get that there's a lot to like about this game. Its absolutely gorgeous in some areas and moving around generally feels much better, but I hope that Elden Ring borrows absolutely nothing from Sekiro.
Just watching you play that genuchiro fight makes me want to download the game again and play it ( after beating the game twice allready and going back to ds2) I’ve been finding myself missing those moments I mean don’t get me wrong souls games have there own type of charm but sekiro is just so amazing .
I agree 1000% about the Sound Track. I loved this OST.
