These jokes about it sounding like a car accelerating are even funnier with the fact that I used to think this siren is called “Accelerator” and not “Allertor”.
+Keevan Johnson Ok, so it is still running, but I didn't get to record it. They ran on monday, and I didn't get set up in time, but noted the position. The re-tested the next day, and it had moved! Now I'm anxious to see if it's fixed or still sick...
What does it mean for siren? I know that people get sick I didn’t. I didn’t know that sirens get sick. Can you explain that so I play a video? I hear the word sick? 🤢
sounds like my old fourwheeler when the engine starts to get hot (the engine of course is old but works fine ut not fine when its hot) its the raidiator that is cousing the sound on me old four wheeler like it all works but the raidiator don't do its job very good and the engine heats up faster then the raidiator can cool down
If the starting capacitor was bad, it wouldn't even spin at all. The starting capacitor in a split-phase induction motor is only designed to kick start the motor. However, if the run capacitor on the motor went bad, assuming it had one, that might explain the slow speed of the motor.
Ts Sirenhunters Unfortunately, no street view so I could not see the wiring. I think it is running on 120V as it reaches 1725 RPM, which equated to 120V. At 240V then it would reach 3450RPM, half the volts gives half the RPM.
That'd be nice, but judging from what I seen in other counties around here, don't think I'll see a T-135. I've visited hundreds of sirens in the area and have yet to see a T-135 anywhere...
Bye bye siren you was dead from 2424 piglets because he don't know how to control the control panel the motor is spinning like a the most like it's been in the rotor the motor is spinning like a spinning like thunderbolt siren 🚨 that was dead from 23 p doctor doctor the siren was dead because instead of PS 50
These jokes about it sounding like a car accelerating are even funnier with the fact that I used to think this siren is called “Accelerator” and not “Allertor”.
Well it is called an Allertor Siren you prune
@@stephensnell5707 Prune??
Step one the
It sounds like my mom's minivan accelerating
Must be a Dodge or Chrysler minivan.
No it doesnt! And not a dodge of whatever!
No. I'm in long island
Wow. WOW.
New York how do you know their mom’s minivan doesn’t sound like that
"Let's race!" says the sick siren.
the first few seconds sounds like a car accelerating XD
I love the wind down so much 😀
It puts out decibels when it's pointing at you despite it being sick.
Citizen : Hey look! The toilet is rotating!
>:(
A lot of people have been saying that as a matter of fact it was mentioned just earlier in some guy live stream that the allertors look like toilets
Thunderbolt, you are not P50. And the last time it is not a toilet.
very very sick omg
run capacitors are dead or its single phase
It has a yelling problem
He needs a doctor. Stat. O.o
Chosen to be a sports car accelerating!
It sounds sick
What does it mean for siren?
not the Allertor i know.. It sounds deeper to me
wow. ive never seen a 125 before!
+Keevan Johnson Hopefully revisiting next week to see it it's still running, unless I think of a better one to record
sweet!
+Keevan Johnson Ok, so it is still running, but I didn't get to record it. They ran on monday, and I didn't get set up in time, but noted the position. The re-tested the next day, and it had moved! Now I'm anxious to see if it's fixed or still sick...
+Keevan Johnson Only once a month, so I'll have to try again in April.
okay do u have a thunderbolt?
What does it mean for siren? I know that people get sick I didn’t. I didn’t know that sirens get sick. Can you explain that so I play a video? I hear the word sick? 🤢
He needs sum milk
Damn! The nostalgia 😭
Are there any other Allertors in Hampton or just this one?
+Jack Wood Nope, just this one... and nothing from the city either and as far as I know, still sick.
That's a shame. It sounds like it could burn out any day now.
Jack Wood I think the motor is going bad
sounds like my old fourwheeler when the engine starts to get hot (the engine of course is old but works fine ut not fine when its hot) its the raidiator that is cousing the sound on me old four wheeler like it all works but the raidiator don't do its job very good and the engine heats up faster then the raidiator can cool down
Lol I was looking at the comments and saw my secondary account lol I think it’s funny finding my secondary accountthis is
Sounds like my dad's Scatpack Challenger
Starting capacitors or slip rings...

@@Omegadoomship do Allertors have brushed or synchronous motors
@@charlie_nolan brushed.
Do you know if it's still running or if it finally died?
+Jack Wood I haven't been back for an official test, but it appears to have moved within the last couple months, so I'd say it's still working.
+Ts Sirenhunters That's good. Not sure how much life is left in it though.
+Ts Sirenhunters I hope you'll re-record this siren.
How sick is sick?
It's nose is runny.
underpowered
yes.. and unfortunately now gone. :(
Sounds like low batteries or the engine wasn't ran at full rpm
No engine or batteries
Although it sounds sort of sick, to me it doesn't sound like is connected to the right voltage.
no no no the siren isnt sick its just pissed off because how its seen the wonderfull maintenance on there 3T22's (by wonderfull I mean shitty)
True that 😭😭⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️
⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️
Ouch
Where exactly in Hampton is this?
stormblade123hsm Industrial park area on the SW side of town. About 100 feet East of intersection of Olive Ave and 140th street.
Ts Sirenhunters Unfortunately, no street view so I could not see the wiring. I think it is running on 120V as it reaches 1725 RPM, which equated to 120V. At 240V then it would reach 3450RPM, half the volts gives half the RPM.
stormblade123hsm I have a lot of them on Flickr, I believe the wide view for this one is c2.staticflickr.com/4/3856/14734939534_4ccf5be187_k.jpg
Ts Sirenhunters Ok. May I save the photo?
stormblade123hsm Yep, no problem...
My brother doesn't hear good
Sorry
Underpowered? Burned up moter? Worn out brushes?
wired backwards?
The cause of this is really worn brushes
dead
Airplane siren
Sounds like a aca ciyclon
Sounds like an abominal snow man
I'm the control panel s
Sirens don’t get sick
lol yes they do.
R/whooooosh
Swap it for a 128 or a 508
+Tyler Copeland T-128 is likely as they have 2 others right now N of the town
That or if it's in the open then I'd go for a t-135ac/dc
That'd be nice, but judging from what I seen in other counties around here, don't think I'll see a T-135. I've visited hundreds of sirens in the area and have yet to see a T-135 anywhere...
That's a bummer they are powerful!!! But maybe a 128 or a 121 would be good also.... Look up Rockford Illinois t-135.... I'll show you powerful
For once I agree a 508 would do good here
Bye bye siren you was dead from 2424 piglets because he don't know how to control the control panel the motor is spinning like a the most like it's been in the rotor the motor is spinning like a spinning like thunderbolt siren 🚨 that was dead from 23 p doctor doctor the siren was dead because instead of PS 50
