- Archival footage shot by an Italian filmmaker while visiting the North Eastern part of the country, probably in 1960
It contains stock footage of the city of Trieste: cars in the streets, Miramare Castle, people swimming in Barcola, the Vittoria Light (lighthouse), people walking on Molo Audace (the pier), man working at the port, the main square (Piazza Unità d'Italia), and more.

se notate, subito due cose giungono all'occhio: l'ordine e la pulizia, oggi del tutto assenti a Trieste
Nel 1960 gli ultimi che avevano avuto un'educazione asburgica avevano ormai sessant'anni, se ne stavano andando tutti in pensione. Subentravano coloro che avevano e che hanno un'altra educazione (cifariella).

@@GrandeCapo_PallaPesante era un esempio per far capire come anche altre città d'Italia in passato erano pulite e ben curate, pur non essendo state storicamente sotto l'Austria :)

A parte il fatto che quello che affermi secondo me non è vero, io ho vissuto in quegli anni sia Roma che a Trieste e ricordo bene la differenza.
