    Welcome to my channel, "Flavors of My Roots"! I'm excited to have you here as we embark on a culinary journey celebrating rich and diverse flavors.
    Today, I'm thrilled to share a recipe that is very dear to me:
    Nourishing Chicken Stew
    10 drumsticks, about 2 1/2 pounds seasoned with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder , cumin, turmeric salt and pepper to taste
    3 tablespoons olive oil
    2 tablespoons butter
    1 large chopped onion
    3 cloves of garlic
    2 cups of chopped potatoes
    3 cups of carrots
    1 teaspoon of chicken bouillon (paste)
    3 cups of water or chicken broth
    Cilantro or parsley
    How to prepare:
    Heat up a pot with the olive oil and butter. Add the drumsticks and sauté for 4 minutes on each side. Add the onion and garlic, cook for 5 more minutes. Add the potatoes and the carrots. Mix well. Add the chicken bouillon and the water. Mix well and let it cook for 20 to 30 minutes. Add the cilantro. Serve over rice and enjoy!

    Tips: You can add chicken broth instead of water, if it needs more than 3 cups, add more.

    Ensopado de Frango Nutritivo
    10 coxas de frango, cerca de 1 kg, temperadas com azeite, páprica defumada, alho em pó, cebola em pó, cominho, cúrcuma, sal e pimenta a gosto
    3 colheres de sopa de azeite
    2 colheres de sopa de manteiga
    1 cebola grande picada
    3 dentes de alho picados
    2 xícaras de batatas picadas
    3 xícaras de cenouras picadas
    1 colher de chá de caldo Knorr em pasta ou 1 cubinho
    3 xícaras de água ou caldo de galinha
    Coentro ou salsinha
    Como preparar:
    Aqueça uma panela com o azeite e a manteiga. Adicione as coxinhas e refogue por 4 minutos de cada lado. Adicione a cebola e o alho, cozinhe por mais 5 minutos. Adicione as batatas e as cenouras. Misture bem. Adicione o caldo de frango e a água. Misture bem, tampe e deixe cozinhar por 20 a 30 minutos. Adicione o coentro. Sirva com arroz e bom apetite!

    Dicas: Você pode adicionar caldo de galinha em vez de água, se precisar de mais de 3 xícaras, acrescente mais.
