  • Derek in this video shows us how to put different boilers including Ariston, Baxi, glow-worm, Vaillant, ideal and Worcester into service mode or chimney sweep mode or high and low fire for when an engineer is analysing the boiler.

Turning up to an unfamiliar boiler and having to study the install manual in front of a customer is always a point in time I hate so I always dl the info a day before. This post was very interesting Derek and maybe a potential series you may consider . Thanks

Probably the hardest for newcomers. It takes ages to find in the MI plus customer aspecting you to know everything from the head and don’t keep old MI. Why would he:))For £120 only. If you can cover some other brands it will be much appreciated. Hate old boilers . Apologies for my language but it shouldn’t be difficult to CPA them . Time consuming reading Mi and hardest is when no Mi and look for models which hard to find. One day it will be all Vaillant boilers! Simple and no headache. Thank you Derek

This is a gem, I will be using this video many many times in near future I already know this, but........ this is a pure gem, needs bit of polish, timestamps on each boiler would make it even more useful when you are at work and want to quickly refer to this video. Anyway that's my opinion, I don't know how much time you have to spend to timestamp youtube video but I would really appreciate it, if it is not time consuming for you.
Thank you once again for this useful video.

I've got a Vaillant VUW 236/7-2 eco tec and I want to set it to operate in Low Flame, because I have underfloor heating and I was wondering if I put my boiler on Low Flame would my gas consumption drop or not?
I don't care if my rooms get heated slowly by activating this option, I just don't want to damage my boiler.

UK boilers are really different from mainland ones, with those control panels and a clock on the boiler. Some with a real "Nokia" vibe.
