    Seems like it has the features & quality that would satisfy a huge majority of people

    At less than half the price the new sim jack sequential shifter you reviewed was a much more attractive prospect to me. More tension, real 5mm thick carbon fibre plates, great build quality, Hall effect sensors, less noisy.
    I struggle to see the additional value this provides at more than double the cost.
    I received my sim jack shifter recently and all of the QC issues and recommendations provided by you and others have been addressed. It’s honestly perfect. There is no play in the shaft like this moza one has, tolerances are all tight, internals were well greased. I installed a $20 18cm tall carbon shift knob to make it around 34cm in total height. It now honestly feels like it should cost $300-$500.

    Your reviews are fantastic, with attention to detail like no other channel, talking about what needs to be talked about and focusing on what's important. Greetings from Spain.

    It could definitely be more stiffer on the shifts, but for what I paid for it, it works very well! Anything better is going to be 2.5X or more the price!

    How does it compare to the SRS sequential shifter from aliexpress, that you tested a couple of years ago?

    which one would you prefer - this one or simjack sequential shifter?

    Any way you could dampen the sound of the shifts on this? Price is very nice but way too loud for me as a night driver

    It’s a shame it’s so good looking with the one exception of those horrible great big bolts through the handle. It should have had counter sunk screws and tapped threads instead of those enormous ugly cap nuts.
    Better yet just make it all solid. It’s tall enough stock I doubt many people will extend it.

    I just purchased it based on your review a few hrs ago (still in transit), was curious to know how it compares in feel to your Jinx shifter?

    • @SimRacingCorner
      @SimRacingCorner  Před 4 měsíci

      The Jinx is a very different beast. It has a chunker feel, the tension can be dialled to 15+ Kg.

    I want one, but it's too loud, I think my neighbours won't like it

    • @Jhet
      @Jhet Před 5 měsíci +3

      How close are you to your neighbors? It's not that bad since it's high pitched. Won't easily go through walls, but I would suggest putting away from any walls

    for some reason i feel like its incredibly loud...

    As someone who has both a sim racing hobby and shooter games, is it possible to bind the buttons on the shifter to say a spotify shortcut when directly connected to the pc? For when I don't play racing games.

      @CptSmoke_ Před 2 měsíci

      One hell of a shortcut tool aswell (: lol

    Unrelated question but did you have issues getting your simsonn or sim jack pedals working with ams2?

    • @SimRacingCorner
      @SimRacingCorner  Před 5 měsíci

      No, just fine. How did you calibrate the pedals

    • @XRavenxMotionsX
      @XRavenxMotionsX Před 5 měsíci

      I followed your video exactly using the program you suggest for the simsonn pedals. The game just doesn’t recognise the pedals

      @SimRacingCorner  Před 5 měsíci

      @@XRavenxMotionsX I was running the Simsonn pedals for this review, while playing AMS2. I can't think of a reason why they wouldn't work.

    the height adjustment is a joke because the lower lever stays in place and out of reach ....

    • @SimRacingCorner
      @SimRacingCorner  Před 5 měsíci +1

      Unless you've used a shifter like this before with a lever, you'll realise it practically never used, so the position doesn't cause any difficulty.
