WHEN SHOULD YOU CHANGE THE CABIN AIR FILTER IN YOUR HONDA CIVIC?
It is recommended that you replace your cabin air filter every 10,000 - 15,000 miles or once a year. However, you may want to replace or change the cabin filter in your Civic more often if:
-You or a frequent passenger suffers from allergies or has other respiratory problems

My boy did a $100 dollar service from the dealer in under 3mins with one hand…
$159 at my dealer. Yea no thanks
Thanks for the video! Everything clicked in a little easier for you, but got mine in and replaced. Saved me $$ from the dealer. Thanks

Thanks for posting! I was 99% there but my previous 10th Gens glove box didn't have to come out. I didn't want to yank on it until I saw someone else do it first! LOL

Does the glove box need to come off or can you just leave it hanging like some older models of Honda?
Interesting that there is no tray which holds the filter in. My 2010 Acura RL and Honda Fit, both had some type of a tray.
: OUTSTANDING instructional info information video.
🐢 👍 🐢 😀
Thanks 👍
Nice job. So stupid Honda puts "UP" on the access door, yet the filter is supposed to point down.
the arrow is for the filter door cover, not the filter orientation
I’ve been having issues with my 2022 Honda civic sport AC , it seems to clogs itself with no explanation. I turn on the AC and nothing comes out , then I’ll turn the car off and back on and sometimes it will start working again. I have not changed the Cabin air filter and I just hit 29,000 miles would that explain it ???
a dirty cabin filter can restrict airflow but it shouldn't cause the A/C to completely stop working intermittently - I think you may have other issues
What’s the mileage and how often do you need to change your cabin filter in your air filter
I usually just go off of how they look but its generally recommended to replace cabin filters every 10,000 - 15,000 miles or once a year.
Currently at the dealership for oil change, they wanted $77 to do this 🤬
I believe it!
Why is Honda making everything so cheap that little latch clip on the left side it looks like it would break in a heartbeat
Tried to charge me 80 at the dealership for this
I belive it!
Thanks. So much easier than my Infiniti or my Mustang!
You're welcome!
Thank you so much
