The beauty of this song is that the voice he's arguing with can be interpreted as many things: Slim Shady, the devil, his addiction or the rap game. I personally lean towards the rap game, it fits perfectly. Anyway the story telling is incredible

Most people, especially your age, don't seem to care to really listen to the song or invest the thought needed to comprehend lyrics on a deeper level. I work with my brother who’s 16 years older than me and most the other guys are about 10-12 years older and sometimes they say these names of older rock n roll guys that I never heard of and they give me the same shit we’re giving this kid lol.
