MGK is the real version of what Em's image was when he came out, that's why Em blackballed him at 22. Em choked on responding with wackshot, 2.5 weeks like MGK said would happen.
MGK did what he was supposed to do when you get called out on wax. People may say it sucks and he lost and that's fine, but he still did what he was supposed to do. He was a real fuckin rapper that day. Nobody else that got called out despite the likelihood of getting lyrically murdered responded. Hell, Em even gave him a B for effort.

To explain the names at the beginning when he said “make a call and ‘here’s Johnny’ keep me shining like a Stanley Kubrick” he refers to Johnny Dang the famous jeweler and Stanley Kubrick is the director of “The Shining” which has a famous line “here’s Johnny” and the Kali Uchis is just a Spanish musician not too much depth with that one
He did say he was coming back to rap and dropping a new album in a interview after his mainstream sellout album dropped. This just makes me more excited for it.

I was like mgk best white rapper in my head till you said NF and honestly straight up. Dude has a crazy style has taken emo rap and gangster rap and fused it and did it all while being a Christian rapper. I’m even anti religion and fuck with NF super heavy dudes crazy talented. And he isn’t even prime yet he’s still young.
The Airbender tattoo bar is also a diss at Jack Harlow. His friend Cozane has that tattoo on his head. Jack needs to up his stage presence if he wants to consider himself the best white rapper since Em cause the kid has none. You can make chill records but you gotta put energy into your shows. I’ve seen a lot of people live in all genres and I’ll say it til I die that MGK is the best live performer I’ve ever seen. The band is and has always been incredible, the energy is intense, and even when he was rapping his shows always were heavy rock vibes. This dude is insanely talented and I’ll ride with him til the wheels fall off.
