Bro, this is one of many favorite videos....with all due respect, your face at 3:10 is priceless....darn Bresser should stop making mount and get into the coffee griding business. Thanks for the video my man, it helped with my new mount acquisition.
Looking at a Explore Scientific FL-AR152 and this is the mount it comes with, I am not sure given the size of the 152 that this mount is hefty enough. What do you think?
When actual tracking it will not sound like that, nor under a real load. My brother in law has a 9.25 Celestron and when sluing fast it is pretty loud, but tracking it is almost noiseless..
Do you think it could carry a 12.5 kg tube excluding the counterweights, rings and camera?because according to the information given about it it has the capacity of 28 lbs=12.07 kg,so is overloading possible with it?
Did you check if you could greace it with some lithium grease? Especially when it's colder the normal greace creates a buch of resistance. It helped a lot with some mounts i used.

yes.. if you get a good mount that works.. but at that price point quality control seems to be an issue...

I just replaced it
11 lb weight 3/4 up the stock stem.
Garnett Leary I tried that.. for some reason the saddle isn’t heavy enough to support the counterweight
I have a hard time believing this thing supports 28lbs
Hi,Whats the max carying capacity ,without the extras-conuter weight ,cam....
i beleive 17lbs
Thank you@@flamingoboot8874
If it sounds crap it probably is....
it does sound like a piece of junk , its not its good i guess but just sounds like that .
i would think that this is a factor of gearing ... you have a fast turning motor and a big weel / stepdown to allow for smooth slow tracking...
@@romeoneverdies yeah i know , the bigger the wheel the better , usually the size of that wheel dictates the price of a mount
@@romeoneverdies But he's just sluing as fast as he can with no load, it'll be very quit when actual tracking and object.. This was a bad example..
