It looks like your worm mesh on the ra axis needs to be tighter or the mesh with the motor gear needs adjusting. You can visually verify the mesh with the motor gear if you remove the little access panel on the side of the ra motor case. The ra worm mesh requires removal of the motor box

I know this is a rather old video and you probably resolved your problems by now but I have a few things to mention. First, Explore Scientific's customer service is phenomenal so you should have contacted them immediately. They would have bent over backwards to ensure you got up and running. Sound is always a tough thing to gauge in video because the camera could be picking up and recording things amplified but that mount sounds as though it needs to be adjusted (worm gear) and lubed. With the extra long counterweight shaft, it is possible that the long moment arm of that weight has caused some gear meshing issues. Lifting it and moving it with clutches locked while still carrying counterweights and telescope can add too much pressure to the gear meshing too. Sometimes, it simply needs to be adjusted correctly after being used for a while. And, lastly, when power is not sufficient (meaning it is time to recharge or replace batteries or you have a bad cable connection somewhere) the mount sort of dies in one axis or another or both. It behaves strangely when battery power becomes weak, for sure. This could be the source of one problem. If you are using an AC adapter, you need to have enough amperage... I believe this requires a bit more than 2 amps but I would use a power supply that provides more. Oh one more thing I noticed... applying any type of force to the telescope or counterweight shaft while it is slewing is an exceptionally bad idea unless you desire gear meshing issues. I noticed your daughter wanting to touch and push the telescope while it was in motion and that is an exceptionally bad idea for the gears. Having that longer counterweight shaft only makes it easier to cause problems. I hope you worked out your problems by now!

@@flamingoboot8874 I'm glad you got to solve your problem. How is the skywatcher for astrophotography?
