did the mortox 50 work on the rushes ? its used for ragwort mainly

Any rushes that got a good dose of it has. But we made a strong mixture of it. I'll make a video and you can see for yourself.

What rate are you mixing the mortone at

2.1L of mortone to 548L of water for the full of the sprayer.

why are rushes sprayed not topped?

We spray them first, then top them. Spraying them hinders there growth and makes heavier rushes easy to top.

Ye can spray first then top when they're died off, or top and spray the young regrowth. I'd prefer to do it his way, brilliant results, but sadly only for a year or two. The buggers always come back... with me anyhow
