- Had a great day of fishing in Newport. Went for surf perch but got lucky and caught a pretty big Corbina. Went to the pier and talked to some pretty cool fishing peeps. Another great day of fishing! Let me know what you guys think. Tight Lines!

“If you find em’ that’s where they’re gonna be” 😂 best fishing advice
Looked like a fun outing. Very nice of you sharing your bait with that couple.
Not too bad of a day! They were super cool!
Great guy man !💥
My old Hang out spot grounding up, awesome fishing video, thanks for sharing🙏🎣💪
Newport is always a good time!! We used to take the bus down there after school when I was a kid. Good times! Thanks for watching!
Awesome! You just made the couple day.
Haha I hope they caught some surf perch!
What reel is that sir? New sub
💕 Wow💚💚💚💚💙💙💚
Hi there, I just started learning how to fish. I've been going to Balboa and Newport Pier, but want to try surf fishing now. Do you have any recommendations on where I can legally fish? Of course, I'll have a license and all!
Yes any of the beaches around here you can legally fish. There are some areas from Laguna to Dana Point that are marine protected areas, but any of the beaches from Newport to Long Beach are totally legal. Good luck!
@@luckytidestvdo you need a license to fish in newport beach?
Hey friend, I'm a kayak fisherman and love to surf fish. I use Peen spinfisher vii , slammer4 and also you might want to check out this reel. Tsunami saltx 4000. Fully sealed for saltwater fishing. I never worry about sand while using my Tsunami saltx4000. Just an awesome reel.
Will look in to those friend! Thanks for the tips!
Where is that location
Don't cast out too far....only move 20' feet up the beach. Shrimp is the best bait....or live sandworm
Awesome thanks for the tips!
My brother caught a 14 inch perch a couple weeks ago using razor clam muscle meat
Dang! I’ve tried using sand crabs before but never used razor clams. Thanks for the tip I will definitely try it. 14” is a big boy!
Croker are one of those best tasting fish.
Why throw it back
Rookie mistake putting your reel in the sand bro. Nice rod I just picked up the same one for surf fishing 8'6 shimano scimitar paired with 3000 shimano Sedona hoping to go out soon for some halibut or whatever bites honestly
Yeah I got to excited haha. The 8’6” has been perfect for me in the surf. There are definitely some fish out there right now and not a lot of people on the beach!
