The question I have: Where do you get so many Elektra's? I haven't even received one copy of her. My alt has her though. I do not remember where he got her, but not been able to ascend her. Too hard for fragments. Now, maybe a year ago she was easier to get? I don't know. I am on a server that just hit 300 day old. I am not having any luck getting her on my main account.
I use *Elektra* but, especially because he's hard to Ascend BUT has good buffs without, *Charles XII* as her Assist and it gives good results in my opinion; especially that March Size... Great video to take all the thoughts onboard and; like so many because of Evony's prolific Gereral release rate, another that I'd be interested in seeing brought up to date; as if you don't have enough on your plate!
MInamoto's stats work in all phases of the game, including attack, defense and reinforcing. Elektra, Alfred and Simeon are attack only. MInamoto is the most versatile ranged general in the game. FTP players are not missing much with Minamoto.
And also the minamoto's 2nd red star marching troop death to wounded - 8%....... it could really save players billions of rss especially if you are active in pvp where death is inevitable.
i like the video, i did the math on my own before even watching this. One thing you did not add was Elektra's clothing buffs, maybe it was not out at the time though.
I am using Elektra as a main, and I got her to 1 red star and 5.3M power. Fun thing is that Helen gave me both Simeon and Charles right before I wanted to get started on my rangerd gen XD. But I stuck with Elektra and James as her help.
Thank you for the comparison. Another excellent ranged pvp general (who most overlook) is Winfield Scott. He’s available in relic fragments and the tavern, making him the easiest to ascend, and he gets a total of 20% march size buff from his specialties and ascensions. His total attack buff is marginally less than Elektra’s, but not enough to justify switching from him to Elektra, IMO. He (and Elektra) also pair with Charles XII, for an excellent ranged pvp pairing on the cheap, if you happen to get Charles somehow.
You should do winfield scott now 😂. Yes elektra is better but i was looking for a second range general without sitting in relics. And was rewatching some ftp generals. I think we totally overlooked him like Catherine a year ago. Im just gonna pay for miahi in this event but if wasnt it would be scott.

I don’t know if Douglas is as good for ranged as Ludwig is for ground, but as he’s premium, I won’t have much need for Douglas, and for that matter, Eleanor as well 😂
I read the 5th ascension as: Marching mounted and ranged troop attacks get 5%, but with a ranged dragon, she gets an additional 10% marching ranged troop attack. I'm guessing the dragon has a 5% attack buff that will be added to her ranged troop attack buff.
Great video as always. But you forgot to include the base stats in your comparison: leadership, attack, defense and politics, with their growth rates. Conrad may be better than Elektra if you take these into consideration

As for the leadership, Conrad’s base stat is better, but Elektra has better scaling (growth rate). So based on that, which of them is better? 😅😅
That last red star ability is strange. Ive always thought it means. 1. marching range will get 20% attack no matter what. 2. If you have a dragon with Electra then range and mounted get 5% more attack. Electra vs Mina -Electra for the attack cities that will join the rally. Get her a premium assistant that allows the attack book and has march size. -Mina for the rally leader to create the space for the attack cities march. Get him a premium assistant that has rally capacity...Tomyris or Wallenstein. *Making the premium the assistant will add power and you need only one copy.
It’s 5% without a dragon. The issue is when you add the dragon. It wasn’t clear the way it was worded. But Simeon’s last ascension has similar wording. Only difference is that his has the word “extra” in there . So I assumed they meant the same for Elektra 😅
@@RedEvony The player that use either Elecktra or Simeon will have a dragon...they will get all the buff. I have no plans for developing a ground or range general. Enemy server boss hunter cities just need one good mounted march with a good mounted combo.

How do you think about Tomyris? Tomyris has a huge buff in ascend skills. When fully ascended, Elektra is slightly better than Tomyris in Attack and MarchSize. But Tomyris has 50% more HP buff.

Thanks 🙂🙏 There are a few decent free wall generals. Just depends on what you are looking for. Generals like Queen Boudica, Yi Sun Sin, Kusunoki Masashige, George Dewey, etc. It depends on what you want. Most wall generals are decent 😉

I was searching for something in your videos but couldn't find it. What if anything along with Mounted troops attack is important when killing boss monsters? Does defense and HP also playing a role into this for zero wounded? Thank you!
For bosses, the important stats are Attack and HP. Defense helps, but to a much lesser extent. You need Attack to be able to kill stronger bosses, and you need HP to lower your wounded👌

Sorry for breaking your brain 😅🙏 Just keep it simple - if you are using Minamoto and are happy with him, then just stick with it. The only reason to change a general you are already using is if you are not satisfied with the buffs you are getting. So just pick your general, stick with it and you’ll be good 😉👍 You can change your assistants much more easily though 😅😂
how much has this game cost to get that far? im at like k30 50mil power a week or two into my server and it feels like theres no end in sight, a race to buy 100$ packs consistently
I wouldn’t think so. Tomyris is a general that is specialized for a particular role. She’s not ideal for everyone to use as a regular archer general. 👌

Ow way this company has the technology to track all the buffs from the general then the gear then the combinations and the books and the dragons and spirits all in a 10 second battle lol. Don’t even talk about the accuracy with rallies. Each battle is 10 seconds and there are thousands of players. At the ends of the day the smoke and mirrors gets us. The good looking generals are like that for a reason. The buffs are just another way of making a general look good. It’s all about money. Evony is a slot machine with false hopes. If you just started here’s my advice quit. And if your a non coiners it will take you about 10 years of playing to get to a k38 and probably 8 of those years you won’t have fun because you have to protect your rss to grow and never drop shields lol. So if you want to waste 10 years of your life then keep playing. For the coiners hey if you got it use it. This is a rich man’s game.

Elektra is not premium. Her fragments are available in the relics

The combination of Elektra with Princess Kaguya gives you 100 % ranged attack instantaneously , right? The total would give more than 150%

Just keep it simple - if you are using Minamoto and are happy with him, then just stick with it.
The only reason to change a general you are already using is if you are not satisfied with the buffs you are getting.

Problem with minimoto is you cant add a level 4 skill book range attack on him and his considerable less cultivation proun

IMO Charles XII is the best assistant for Elektra. For Double Dragon ranged PvP attacks, I use Elektra/Simeon.
Elektra gives 38% attack buffs actually
you only focus on ranged number, on fact you should calculate buff of siege on simeon.. siege very helpfull to increase result. 😆
