I absolutely love this film and it's a glorified masterpiece........and Christopher George is an absolutely legend. #FrankenCoed
Hey man keep up good videos and don't let anyone keep you down 👍👍👍
I'm happy to see the return of Blood Splatter Cinema. I was really going to pieces there.
Hell yes, long awaited return of blood splattered cinema
It has been many moons since we got a Blood splattered Cinema episode, today is a good day.
"Upon further reflection..." at 10:59 made me go "Oh my goood, you didn't just... ohhh god I love it !)" Mirror, reflection, har-di-har-har :D
Strap in, the groan inducing puns keep on comin'! 😛
Oh god, that cry sound effect was legendary!
I always look forward to another BSC and this one did not disappoint! Hilarious and informative! I had no idea how dangerous this set was. Yikes! Gonna go and order some hot buffalo wing pieces snacks now! #FRANKENCOED
5:44 The Super Mario World music had me on the floor laughing
Don’t mind me, just here for the escalator puns.
They really ramp up.
@@TheHorrorGuru Oh yeah, That’s the type of uplifting comment I needed.
#FrankenCoEd
Dude, I love your videos so much. I'm two minutes in and I'm already like "dammit...I wish my videos were this funny and cool."
Your videos are fantastic though!
Awesome 🤘
Great classic.
5:45 killed me 😂
I fucking love this movie! So glad to see you give it the BSC treatment.
"Willard, the creepy groundskeeper who really loves his chainsaw!"
Could be worse. At least he doesn't have a thing for rats.
Just when I’m at my lowest point The great zod has blessed me with this
Ironically enough, the original Akira manga was halfway there to showing the most badass way to using a head - I wanna see a slasher tear off on a motorcycle, pass by someone minding their own business, and use one of his victim's heads as a club for a drive-by smacking!
By the way Guru, good to see you still working your grind with this series!
EDIT: #FRANKENCOED 4 LYFE
Just when you think it's safe to open your bookshelf, #Frankencoed strikes outta nowhere!
WIll never forget learning about this one back in the day and all the wtf when actually watching it. What a ride.
The nut shot at the end was awesome. Pieces was amazing , especially watching it at a drive in theater when it came out.
There is rarely a slasher film like J.P Simon's PIECES. Rented it constantly as a kid and have multiple physical releases of this classic.
The Horror Guru "It's been a long day, without you my friend."
A Mighty Boosh and Rocky Horror reference?! Love it
Horrayyyyy!!!! New BSC!!! Thank you for blessing us Guru! #frankencoed
I can’t help but think of MST3K Pod People because of the casting in this movie.
The voices this guy does make me realize why the successful movie reviewers are as successful as they are
Me too.
The crying over the shoes legit made me spit laugh. Thanks, I needed that.
You're welcome, my friend!
There's no way I'm participating in this #frakencoed thing. You can not make me type #frankencoed. It's not happening! Even if I eat some #badchopsuey! Always nice to see you and Jack back, with all the puns in tow!
Bahaha you make a Lil red light and some Vape in a box look oh so cinematic ! And I fucking love the Walgreens commercial lmfao
This is one of my favorites! Not only because of that crazy ending with #frankencoed but the whole movie is just insane in the most fun way.
Really REALLY enjoy this format. And I'm glad Jack is part of these even if it's a much smaller part. Thanks for all the physical and mental work you put into these videos. They help me process my day and thoughts. Genuinely thank you man. You have made my life a bit brighter. I mean that
Wow, Halloween may be over but we get a long Blood Splattered Cinema. Thank you, Satan!
I do find your work inspiring, just finished my first short story and you & Jack helped me get started.
#FRANKENCOED finding it hilarious trying to think of a creepy colour for a pickup truck.
Big congrats. I am working on what originally was intended as a short story, but kind of mutated into a novella.
Dude #FrankenCoed is a Slasher throwback that needs to happen
Also love your work! And that Darkman reference absolutely made my day
Man, Guru's pun this ep are just killer.
Welcome back, you beautiful bastard. Good to see a Blood Splattered Cinema. Pieces is an excellent slasher film.
For some reason, the Masked Slasher's line about Christmas parties had me in stitches... or rather, in pieces. #FrankenCoed.
Always a delight to see you upload a new episode, J Man.
aaaaaaaaahhhh love these type of reviews :) always put a smile on my face and brightens up my day. Loving all the content and reviews.
Yay!!! So happy the skits are back!!!❤❤ Thank You (and Jack❤)
Bloody brilliant as always, Guru! 🖤
I love your older videos and still watch them on the regular Thanks for all the hard work you clearly put into them all
Great video as always !!
Glad you’re back to doing these. This was e original reason I subscribed, but I stayed for the movie review with count.
Somehow Pieces and May give me Frankenstein monster vibes.
Wow, your back doing this, I love it
It was his first 'body-building' competition #Frankencoed #DaddyGuru
Odd I've been watching horror movies for 35 years and have never heard of this one before
I remember watching this on VHS back in the day. I hated it then, but for some reason when I watched it recently I really, really had a good time. I guess it's like Silk Spectre said in Watchmen, "When you get this far, the future looks darker and the past - even the grime - gets a little brighter"......ROLL ON THOSE BAD MEMORIES!!!
Nice to see a underrated classic get some Guru love it deserves...that ending always made me laugh 😂
@horrorguru. Are you and Jack gonna do a Vlog of Mad God? Plzzzzz it's frickin amazing.
Most likely once we get a chance to watch it.
@@TheHorrorGuru one of the most horrible, wonderful, obscene and amazing things I've seen in a long time. You guys will love it! ;)
12:29 Grizzly was the review that made me subscribe!
Thank you for sticking around!
I just realised there might be a good reason for the villain's look as The Shadow, apart from being evocative. The killer was a kid in the 40's, right when pulp and comics were all the rage, including The Shadow!
Great observation!
The man, the myth, the horror guru returns! Great review. And Slugs is great 🤣 I reviewed it earlier this year and I found it highly entertaining
I love seeing your reviews because you are critical of them without being mean-spirited about it. #Frankencoed
He went all lumberjack on his mom.
Just when she thought she was out of the woods too.
Was wondering when the yearly Blood Splattered Cinema was going to happen. Great shit as always
Finally, a new Horror Guru review!
ITS a very good Geil Slasher of The 80's and a good Soundtrack !!! 🔨🔨🔨🔨🔨🔨🔨🔨👀🤘👍 Greetings from Hamburg Germany
Freezing water?
Real knives?
I'm not convinced that Juan wasn't trying to kill his actors.
I wonder if Christine Baranski wasn't channeling Linda Day George when she was in "Bowfinger". Seriously, she was doing the "BASTARD!" scream at certain points.
On Timmy's wall there's a Patriot Banner but the patriots were not established till 1960 and this takes place in 1942 big blooper.
It's great to see a new review from you, Guru! I love this movie too, it's beautiful sleaze. I really enjoyed your quips and background info, especially the lead-up to the infamous "Bastard!" scene. #FRANKENCOED
Bravo My Number One Favourite Guru Man!😉
For that swimming girl. You can tell by her face she is freezing.
That #FRANKENCOED should get together with the FrankenDAD of the Korean psychological thriller "Tell Me Something".
This movie has it all. I've loved it for years. #Frankenhooker
5:27 I don't regret stopping and reading all the Google search results🤣
#FRANKENCOED
Glad to see another one of these I hope you do more again soon #frankencoed
Yes ! Only thing missing is your curly hair Guru 🤣 you need to do more of these they are awesome, it reminds me of AVGN when he was good 👍
RIP my curly hair.
@@TheHorrorGuru I lost mine at 20 🤣
Did not expect the #FrankenCoed. Nice review!
Watching this movie for the first time was an experience, I had only heard about it through the horror grapevine and didn’t know any plot points besides the college setting and the chainsaw wielding killer, and I regret nothing, I discovered the simultaneous worst and best slasher movie #Frankencoed
#FrankenCoEd 🔪 Always glad to see you (and Jockula) do proper reviews again.
First saw this in movie in the mid-80's and loved it! More manic than The House That Screamed...#FRANKENCOED
Well, this flick certainly has an awesome CONCEPT at least. A killer assembling a HUMAN JIGSAW PUZZLE? Very original and imaginative, yet creepy and sick! Oh, and THIS flick has some pretty strong SHOCKS too, with surprisingly not-poor effects work.
Welcome back from lord knows how long? Didn't expect the #FrankenCoed at all, and his poor balls getting a maximus gripicus. Now I def need to get this from my wishlist!
And I also saw Graduation Day, and I do recommend! May I also suggest Aerobi-cide/Killer Workout?
About time for some new guru! Nothing but love. #frankencoed
When I was in college, the pancakes moment from Cabin Fever was treated by my immediate social circle as one of the true great moments in cinema history. My best friend at the time was an RA so he had to host events every so often. He did a jewelry making/tie dye event, but we made the banner say "PANCAKES" in huge letters, with tiny letters reading "No pancakes will be served." Many people stopped by hoping for pancakes. All left disappointed. #frankencoed. I realize that story with that hashtag comes off as more disturbing than intended
Good to see ya again brother! #Frankencoed
Watched this last week. Good film. But I got it in the cheap St. Claire Vision Cult Horror DVD collection. It's my favorite film of the set, though. And that includes Dario Argento's THE HATCHET MURDERS, and Mario Bava's KILL, BABY... KILL!.
I own the Arrow Video Pieces Deluxe Edition Blu-ray with the vinyl record.
Bad ass! I got the Grindhouse Releasing 2-disc plus CD.
I’m more of a mustard and onion guy myself but hot buffalo wing is pretty good.
Blood splattered cinema is baaaack! ^^ YES! ^^
Fuck yeah another video :D, you are awesome
Officially added to the Patreon!! #FRANKENCOED
#FRANKENCOED I hope we don't have to wait a year for another episode of Blood Splattered Cinema. This gorehound needs more then just pieces here and there!
I hope not either, tbh lol
MMAAAAAASSSTTEEEERRRPPIIIIEEEEEECCCEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!
Have to admit, the pig FX made me want to order up a #FRANKENCOED -and-ReAnimator extra large pizza. Gotta chow down on that meat.
Horror has affected me in interesting ways. Now, when chainsaws are involved, I get a craving for BBQ.
Love the amount of production and time that you put into these Blood Splattered Reviews ... Another classic "slasher film" checked off the box ✔✔.. The #FRANKENCOED is such an awesome ending!
Glad to see a new Blood Splattered Cinema and I think I have a new movie to show some friends of mine! #FRANKENCOED
I so happy you made a new Blood splattered Cinema #FRANKENCOED
Amazing
A little bit more on how I made this movie, plaza or whatever the hell I called it. You see I first got the inspiration for it when I was a filmmaker in college and I studied under such great says Alan Hitchcock, Frank caper, Jimmy the hacksaw Smith, let's see what were some of the other great directors I looked under for inspiration. Let's see there was the master of terror and suspension, Victor von Davis, and of course the beautifully incontinent visions of of Steven
Spiegel, who as we all know went on to design the Spiegel catalogs. So now what the hell were we talking about here? Oh that's right my unforgettable immortal classic, priests or whatever the hell it's called here. So anywho, let's just agree that it's an unforgettable piece of Cinema radical researching subliminal supportiveness and this really all there is to do it.
I remember my first #frankencoed
Something something darkside. Something something #Frankencoed
Frankencoed likes Frankenberries (or so I’ve heard)🥸
Fun fact, this movie also has a Latinamerican meme, its the clip of the blonde lady in the blue track suit screaming "BESTIA!". And was popularized by Argentine CZcamsr Te Lo Resumo. Imagine if CinemaSins was actually good and genuinely funny.
That's awesome, haha!
#FRANKENCOED 4 LYFE!!1!11 I love how both in the dub and the original Mary screaming "BASTARD/BESTIA" is supreme ham.
Hence why its a Hispanic meme.
Too late for Halloween. Too early for my birthday. The hell guru! Do you even own a calendar?!
Lol. Jk.
Great episode man.
I require more blood splattered cinema right now #frankencoed
Yes!!!!! Now I just need jackula to return
On a lot of sites , it is called a giallo film
#FRANKENCOED vs. FRANKENHOOKER -- I need this now!
Me too!
