5:20 Dirt is a perfectly fine base for a horse stall, especially an outdoor one like that. Modern indoor stalls typically have concrete and then cushion padding (like heavy duty versions of those kids play mats) with bedding on top. Bedding is typically straw or wood shavings.
I lived on a barn-ranch-type place as a kid so I was happy about cottage living, but horse ranch has been AMAZING
I already downloaded this house the day it posted to the gallery and I made the top bedroom into an office with a cozy fuzzy rug and dark wood desk and chair combo and a dark blue and black color scheme💙

I've seen a variety of floorings used in horse stalls, depending on the age of the building, location, and how fancy it is. The main concern is how easy it is to keep clean and dry, and how gentle it is on the horse's hooves. If you want something a little cleaner looking than dirt, I've been using the sand flooring tile in most of my indoor horse stalls

Because it's spelled trough it probably has nothing to do whether you have been on a ranch or not tbh. I have never been on a ranch and I know it's pronounced "troff". But in all honesty it doesn't bother me when people don't know the pronunciation because there are several ways to pronounce words in the English language and they are technically all right.
I work security at a brewery and i called it a "drought" beer instead of "draft" beer and my supervisor was taken aback. Excuse me, sir, i am not a connoisseur of beer 😅

Horse stalls usually have rubber mat floors over concrete or hard lime. Professional farms use concrete because its easy enough to remove the stall mats to sanitize the stalls without making an absolute mud pit.

I cleaned up an old barn and filled some boxes that could be seen pretending as if it contained some products that the peasant chracters grew by themselves.
And I used it as an office where the peasant can compile document-working and pile up their products to sell them all online market.
I gotta modify it into a house like you. Thank you for showing us the processes of refurbishing it 🙏💜

My family owns a ranch and has horses, yes! There is dirt at the bottom of the stall typically. In nicer/larger stables there is sometimes flooring, and often there is straw (not hay) on top of the dirt or floor for the horses to use as bedding and to soften the ground for them. We have two of our own horses in the barn and rent out our other stalls to someone we know (although we actually have a couple more horses that arent legally ours because of some farm drama)
Also that kitchen tile works so well! Reminds me of the tile on the walls in my Gpa's farmhouse (probably my Nana's idea)

We have rubber mats in the bottom of my horse’s stall. ☺️ I’ve been using the rubber brick looking floor that came with the pack

Love the build, love the pack - i only paused the video when you pronounced the word trough, because I thought I remembered it being said differently in my years learning english at school. It seems i remembered it correctly (Not that it matters, there’s an f sound at the end) 😅 English is a weird language. You’re doing a great job!

Horse stalls generally have cement as the flooring.
You should try to shrink the hourse bed and maybe if a adult or elder hourse cant fit a baby hourse can? Also you are an amazing creator and I use almost all ur builds from the gallery because A I'm not as good and B I'm lazy lol 😂

I tend to USE a lot of BLUE to. Blue is not my fav color but I used it a lot. Even in my star stable game on my horses lol. MOST of them have blue tack or blue in it... I cant help but it BLUE is a nice color.

I don't know if anybody has noticed or mentioned it, but Kayla, it's not "trow" when you are talking about a food or water trough, it's "troff." "Trow" is, as far as I can see on Google, a slang term used to mean pants.
I also noticed and had to check the dictionary to see if there was another way of pronouncing it. Apparently, in addition to "troff" people also commonly pronounce it "troth" and "troh." The battle between -ough and English speakers everywhere!
Also, fun fact, the slang "trow" is a variant of "trou," short for trousers.

I dont understand why Kayla never uses the mod by twistedmexi that organised the debug catalogue. She uses it so much, it looks like a big time-saver.
Funny enough she knows about the mod, did a video on the mod as well, and in that video she says how she'll probably always use that mod from now on. Yet she's never used it since. I get not wanting to use certain mods so things don't get labeled as CC on the gallery, but that mod has no issues with that. Also, with that mod you can set it so you automatically unlock debug and liveedit without having to use the cheats every time.
