    My beautiful dad was a Vietnam veteran and absolutely loved this song. We played it at his funeral and I’m sure he was having a boogie to it watching down proud that we incorporated it on his send off ❤️

      Worked at a grocery store and on veterans day a 95+ year old man came through the line. I thanked him for his service. He looked up shocked to me and paused then said, "you're the first person who's ever thanked me for my service."
      I had to hold back the tears as he walked off back into the world and I helped the next customer and went back into the automated questions of "do you have a club card, want help out with your bags?

    When my dad was diagnosed with cancer. Just before he passed away I would play this song to him on the weekends and it would make him feel a little bit better because this was one of his favourite songs.I miss you dad

      I put CCR. EAGLES, ROY ORBISON and then the Stones followed by the Beatles a matter of 'Choice' I guess.Nothing in the music of today is even memorable, it usually vanishes in a fortnite it's 'SOOH' forgettable, however the REAL musicians are here for keeps.

    My late cousin, loved this song. Whilst at sea, he attempted saving others. In the process, he lost his own life. No greater love is there than giving your own life for someone else. Rest in peace Nickey Kotze.😔

      Nickey took people out on deep sea fishing trips. A storm at sea rocked the boat, causing some people to fall in. In the process of saving some, he lost his own life. He loved Bad Moon Rising.

    John Fogerty is one of the best song writers in modern times, an excellent vocalist, and an extraordinary guitarist with an unmistakable sound. The fact he wrote so many memorable songs is just amazing in itself. CCR music just doesn't age at all for me. Always fresh.

    The sound of this takes me back more than 50 years. To a young man watching a beautiful girl with swirling skirts sweeping round the old dance hall to a great cover of Bad Moon Rising. Many of them gone now including most of that talented local band. Time flies but great memories linger.

    This was my grandpas favorite song, he was a musician and played Bass/guitar in a small cover band, i learned to play this song on guitar for his 70th birthday (my first song ever played on a guitar) he sadly died 2 years ago from covid, i still come back to this song every now and then to remember him

    I'm 62yrs young and I'm been listing to CCR since the mid 70s up till today it brings back lots of very great memories of both of my parents who introduced me to CCR I'll always love their music for the rest of my life even got my children's listing to CCR they always telling me CCR is the real thing it relaxing music for them God bless John and his band ALOHA mahalo nui loa

    CCR music during the Vietnam war era. Our Country is near Vietnam and I grew up in a City with a US military base and I could hear their music being played in our neighborhood. I was still very young at that time. Such a nostalgic moment for me.

    Peter, I will be 69 years old next month and I learned this song in eighth grade choir, in Beaverton Oregon. I loved it then, and have recently been reading a historical fiction series from the Civil War days, in the Shenandoah Valley. It brought this song to mind, so Iwent to CZcams, typed it in, and there you were. I’m so moved by your rendition of this, I get emotional every time I hear it. You you have a gift from God above, and I’ve been so blessed to listen to you sing this. Also, my husband loves it, he is a 56 year old, who loves all different varieties of music.     My Band used to play a Specific Car Show every year at a Golf Course in Central California.
    We played all the Rock 'N Roll Hits from the 60's 70's and a few from the 80's...
    and without fail, "Bad Moon Rising"
    would always get the Ladies on the
    Dance Floor, up and moving...
    ...and then we'd keep em there with
    songs like: "Twist and Shout,"
    "Rockin' Robin," "Build Me Up Buttercup,"
    "Brown Eyed Girl" [Etc.]
    *(The open Bar helped also)* 🤣

      I don't believe it is the eclipse date itself but VERY VERY VERY soon... perhaps 40 days after. I hope you are a genuine Jesus Christ follower because MANY will be slain when everyone's worst nightmares come to life and destroy them for their sinfulness. This is serious, pray pray pray and prepare. Look for the Aurora Borealis in the sky and that will leave you around 1 hour to seek shelter. The sun will not give it's light for 3 days and electricity will only be in the house of the faithful believers (supernaturally granted).

    Back when CCR first charted a friend bought the album, left it on his bed, went to his part time job after school. (We incidentally had a small band and picked up a few very small gigs) When he got home from work that night his mom appoached him almost teary eyed. All she had seen was group name on front cover. She said something like, " I was worried about how you would turn out. But I am so happy to see you chose some "GOSPEL MUSIC" to listen to.

      Israel and Palestine have been fighting for years and they always will. Humans have been fighting since we crawled out of the caves and we always will. The world isn't ending anytime soon just always seems like it is. Violence and conflict are aspects of Nature and will always be around so this song will always be relevant. They were talking about Vietnam and the race riots and all that back when this song was written and people thought it was the end.

    it is strange that CCR songs defined the Vietnam war era feelings so well, we all felt there was "a bad moon rising" and thought "who will stop the rain" and we knew we were not the "fortunate ones" "running through the jungle". That music raised our spirits, we were all young guys.
