TOP 10 MONSTERS || GORJANCI HillClimb 2022

- Fantastic entrylist at last weekend´s Gorjanci Hillclimb in Slovenia, featuring some of the iconic Monsters in European Hillclimb Racing like Werner Karl´s Audi S2, Michl´s Double Hayabusa V8 Lotus Elise or Bubnic´s Delta Integrale, but also marking the debut of Matej Grudnik´s powerful Clio E1 Turbo in 4 Wheel Drive guise. And for its very first competitive event (and test for that matter,as the car was finished exactly the day before the event....) it showed tremendous promise. This is how they all stacked up in the end:

It's amazing to see the fiat Punto on top ten with cars like porsche or lotus that have a little difference of price at the time of purchase. One Punto costs like a one porsche's wheel.
Yeah and it come hand to hand with driver skill/car setup.
Also 911 GT3(922 chasi) cost 269K iam curious about Punto price,probablly 200K+-.
Yes if we look at the base car, but to build punto like this from the video you need at least 35000-40000 euros.

Really happy to see the Clio continuing its development and performing strongly...looks a whole different monster in 4x4...
And it was at 70% of its potential in this debut even at the most...

That Subie is tight. Serious power for still just a 2L. Usually 500+HP EJ's are 2.5L if not the new 2.7L combo I've seen around.
we have a 2.04 liter engine.(stroker kit, but not 2.1)
it was programmed perfectly at 4turbo in poland.
it runs over 600hp

There are several factors why it's not exactly 2.0 litres.
We calculated everything precisely and installed our own combination of connecting rod, crankshaft and piston.
It's a close deck block with new model AVCS heads.
was a lot of work. but it works perfectly❤️

Yea the cornering in that car is simply one of the best handling cars ever built . I think a good driver could smoke someone driving a car with 200 more horsepower .
@Thor Odin son i think it's a dry sump v8 so mounted super low ... and the usual 2zz turbo cant rev to 10.5k .
It's even possible that the v8 is a part of the chassis now.....

おそらく三菱の経営悪化とラリーアートの解体で早い車を作れなくなったのかもしれないです
しかし最近ラリーアートが復活したのでランエボのような車も再び作られるかもしれません

Some good tunes being played here but,IMHO, nothing quite matches the Sound of Music produced by a Porsche Flat 6 symphony.
Man...that dude in the Hyundai rx car needs more seasons in a less powerful car. He was just driving through corners on and off power, as well as initiating on power. FYI, in an awd car, rule of thumb is to time your braking so youre turning in before the weight transfers off the front wheels. Once you initiate the turn in, your eyes should already be focused on the exit. That way a split second after the car rotates you can stand on the power and rear steer post apex. Of course this depends on the surface youre racing on as well as the speed of the corner. You can just tell that car intimidates him too. Thats not good at all. You need to RESPECT the car. If it intimidates you, you have no business in the staging lane. I mean absolutely ZERO disrespect to whoever was driving. Inexperience isnt BAD, weve all been there. It can however, be dangerous. Thankfully this is hillclimb. There are still spectators though. Lets not forget about the driver who is simply in way too much car and the settings were so wrong judging by the way it was behaving and reacting to input a good suspension tech who has 10+ years of experience setting up race cars and doing racing alignments would benefit them exponentially. Im speaking from 15 years of desert racing, ive raced 4 Rally America locations every year since it started, ive raced king of the hammers 4 years in a row and finished every year, i race an outlaw car in dirt track for my dads buddy whos the owner and i finished first in points for the past 2 years and yes that is at the local pro level. All i do is drive. I make a damn good living as a hired gun. I do a lot of drifting too, but thats at 3am on Wednesday nights going up Geyger Grade or Mt.Rose highway. Feels like the American version of Initial D except were all driving mustangs and 2j swapped and or turbo 3 series beemers. Im a mustang man myself. BIG mustang guy. In hobbystock my first 5 years racing ovals i won every single race i signed up for in a turbo 4 cylinder 1987 notchback foxbody mustang. That was against 300hp small block g bodies being driven by people with more years of flat track experience than i had been alive.
