To be fair, “health declining” and “has been hospitalized” sounds like dying or some sickness to me. It does not at all sound like just a broken leg. I think Bob’s potential misinterpretation is on Mark for questionable, kinda weird and very up to interpretation wording. Still funny to bring a gun into a hospital.
i think a lot of people are misinterpreting the broken leg part. it was wade that simply joked that the dad could just be having a broken leg but that doesn’t mean he actually had a broken leg in mark’s head. mark never said the dad broke his leg and was probably just thinking for the scenario the dad was sick but not chronically ill
The police think it's so funny they cant help but tackle you with their laughter and have to cuff you so that your humor doesn't become an issue since laughter is so infectious...
@@dell10781 No? An injury that has an estimated heal time is just that. Your health is your vitality. If your vitality is on the decline, there's no knowing when you'll fully recover, so it generally implies 'so sick you might die'.
@@dell10781 That's not even remotely what Jolene said. That's like saying someone who was born without legs but is incredibly healthy should be able to walk just because they are healthy. [Not just to dell] The definition of health is "the state of being free from illness or injury" which does include injury, but the definition of declining is "becoming smaller, fewer, or less; decreasing" or "diminishing in strength or quality; deteriorating." Either way, it implies a change over time. I'd also point out that I've only ever heard the phrase "declining health" or "health has declined" in reference to someone who is not getting better, and the chances of any meaningful improvement in health are about naught. A broken leg means a lower quality of life temporarily, possibly permanently, but unless the person is quite old, I think there's usually a high chance of improvement (I'm not a doctor, but I haven't ever heard of someone dying from a broken leg, only people dying from such complications as infections). I think since "declining" at least implies a decrease over time, versus in a moment, the only way broken bones would qualify for "declining health" is if the person has shown a higher chance for bones to break. I also just want to say that Mark said that the dad's health was declining and has been hospitalized. To be fair, this could mean he's gotten older and that is more prone for injury and illness and they are harder to recover from, and this hospitalization is for just a simple treatment or something. On the other hand, when you someone says someone's health has only gotten worse, and that they have been hospitalized, I think it's a fair assumption that they are there for something serious, probably life-threatening. Mark technically didn't say it was life-threatening, but the terminology implies it. Obviously Mark didn't mean for it to mean it was life-threatening, but everything he was saying pushed that narrative.

IN FAIRNESS, I also thought "has been hospitalized" meant it'd happened before, and also the image of Bob living in an overly-lavish, overly-dramatic estate is too wonderful
Man knew he had to do it, after all two toes Jhonny is to not be crossed
Yeah no Mark 100% trolled here or just forgot what he said.
Saying 'health declining' and 'hospitalized' really sounds like dying so either Mark just didn't know what he was saying, forgot what he meant, or just wanted to troll.
A perfect D&D campaign
I got distracted by how the kids in Bob's family gave his father *get well soon* cards when Bob was assuming his father was dying.
these thumbnails are great
This is one of the funniest f*cking things from the podcast.
This one needs an animation
Anyone else zone out when mark was talking and just heard the story and was like jesus Bob
Ahaha I remember this, how much I laughed man
Watching this when you already know that it was just a broken leg makes it even funnier somehow
"He knows what needs to happen"
You know what, I was waiting for Bob's "dad" to unwittingly shoot Bob in a misunderstanding of the situation as Bon handed him the gun
**The doctor walks into the room.**
"Whoops my hand slipped!"
Yes, my favorite…
I love the thumbnail xd
CZcams would forbid it but imagine if this was animated.
That freakin' thumbnail is killing me hahaha
All the way up it’s like, wow ok, fair response to that situation the Mark explains he’s not dying. He’s only broken his leg 🤣
"ChicaHow: Accepting Your Death" lol
LOL funny Distractible I liked this video yes!!!!👍😅
I thought he was gonna smother him with a pillow and then there was a revolver and I was so confused but also enjoyed the misdirection
I imagine the confusion on Mark's face, lmao-
