Oliver Hardy was multi talented. He could have taken his career in several directions, but thank goodness the showbiz fates had other immortal plans for him. Thanks for this tribute.

Oliver Norvell Hardy was truly a comic genius. His pairing with Stan Laurel were electrifying on screen and caused genuine laughs on the faces of the viewers. I really love everytime when he looked on camera after Stan accidentally hit him. It shows his acting capability as he depicted frustration and genuine surprise through his big eyes. Others may think he was just a comedian, but for me he was a true actor. I also like his line "Now you got me into another nice mess" to his partner Laurel. Both of them were my favourite actors from childhood. Even today they make me laugh whenever I watch them on screen. Heartfelt gratitude to the maker of this documentary. RIP Ollie. We love you.

One thing that always made me laugh and was not mentioned was Ollies screams from surprise, pain, fear or accidents. Everyone was different and more funny than the one before

I'm huge Laurel & Hardy fan....in particular, Oliver Hardy. My friend, the late Don Judy, used to tell me that when he was a kid he would go to the matinees and see Laurel & Hardy films, but he used to call it "Oliver & Hardy" when he was a kid 😂
    Anyway, thanks for this! 😁

I really adore both as one only thing. They were the most wonderful entertainers actors, the had soul, likeables and funny level god. I love when Hardy watch camera, as saying how is possible so much stupidess. It is a very interesting way of communication btwn actor and audience. This was used also by Benny Hill on 70s in England and Chespirito elenc in México early 70s.
