280HP? That’s seems extremely low for a 5.3. There’s many 4.8’s with smaller cams on CZcams making 300+rwhp. Does bolt ons really make that huge of a difference?
not with stock intake, air filter, exhaust, cat, 60lb muffler, and shit...these trucks make 215-220whp stock. No joke. SO they gained 60+whp...just a CAI, longtubes, junkyard TBSS intake, and an X or H pipe exhaust should 330+whp on a 5.3
Whats the part number of the cam kit and spring kit used. Also whats the total costs for parts. Im thinking of doing my 05 as well but will ise headers and want to ise a diff factory head for more breathability amy suggestions and asvice would be appreciated. Thanks

Yes. An engine can't breath with everything stock. Besides, this engine had a ton of miles and was 100% stock otherwise.
