    I am watching this video prior to purchasing the CVA Accura MR-X. Thanks for your assistance.

    That gun is shooting all over the place . I would try a heavier sabot. 250 grain on a 50 cal is quite low, I would go 300 grains or heavier. I have personally never shot a sabot that light before but I have friends that have had the same wild patterns with lighter slugs. If you are not shooting past 250 yards I would go 350 grains. The heavier slug will have better knock down power. Your powder charge will be somewhere between 75 to 90 grains by volume for a heavier slug. You really need to experiment with different charges and slugs but that obviously requires time and money.

    I have a cva accura also. Never had a primer stick. I tried to make a 200 yd gun out of it, but had accuracy problems with the heavy charges. Dropping back to 70 gr. Weighed, helped a lot. I like the bore drivers.

      The Bore Drivers gave good results when I tried them out last year. I may give them another try next year and see if I can get them to shoot at 200.

      Same my CVA wolf the primers drop out on there own once I open the breech. blackhorn 209 needs a good primer like federal 209a or CCi 209 magnums. I find it weird everytime a primer misfires it's jammed like it went off but the hole is plugged or something causing it to expand.

    I've had real good luck with SST's.

    You should try the federal bor-lock copper bullets. They group pretty good and have wonderful expansion.

    The paper rip on the second powerbelt shot looks really off. I think the bullet tumbled

    I have the CVA Accura V2 mine shoots anything I put in her. But me bullet of choice is the Barns 290 gr with provided sabot with 110 gr of powder. Or a custom 350 gr400gr lead conical with a 54 cal felt wad and 80 gr of power.

    I had that problem with the primers getting stuck. I put breach plug grease in the hole, shot 3 primers through. Problem solved.

    @larrycrots3155 Před 9 měsíci

    There's a reason they provide 2 different breach plugs. One is specifically for BH209. Ignition and accuracy are affected if you don't use the correct one.

      I definitely found that to be the case, and did pick up a backup BH209 plug.

    Great video I’m shooting an accura lr-x, have you figured out what the problem was with the breech plug or maybe the primers. I’ve had tons of problems with federal primers.

    I quit using blackhorn 209 because of the same problem you are having and it's way to expensive now

      @@aronkoppold3981 it is quite expensive, but for the few shots a year I take with it, it’s worth it for the quick, easy cleaning IMO.

    Is there suppose to be an oring in the breech plug

      @@TheOutdoorGeneralist Google it. There was orings in some models of breech plug to make sure there was a good seat and I'm sure it was there to help from sticking.
