A sense of foreboding about what's coming next because this guy just implied he doesn't care about his own life... I love it

I've always wanted to play Silent Hill 2, sometimes I worried I wouldn't enjoy it and it took me awhile to finally play it. I started it on my PS3 and at first I was getting into it but wasn't 100% sure. As soon as this scene with Angela at the graveyard played, I was so happy. Because I knew that I definitely liked the game because the story was interesting and I was going to keep playing.
Remember guys, the PC version is considered abandoned ware and you can download it for free. Also, download the PC Mod of silent hill 2. It runs very well on modern pcs. If you have a ps5, I guess. But if you have pc, I strongly recommend you download this if you haven’t played this legendary game. Fuck Konami and embrace mods.

Demon bat creatures fly around, you need stone tablets from Alice in Wonderland to get into rooms and you will see terrors that were personally crafted to you as a person. Okay, you go into that situation and talk normal. But not only that. There is other factors. Silent Hill 2 shows, more than SH1 that the town can REALLY fuck with your mind. (Spoilers ahead) Eddie changed from a normal dude to seeing murder as just as natural as using the bathroom. And you ended up needing to kill him to save your own life in the end. (Spoilers done) It be more unnatural if they talked normal. Silent Hill games have suggested that everyone sees different things in the town. (Spoilers again for SH3) Hell, SH3 went as far as to make a point system where every monster you murdered would count against a bad ending. On top of the famous line "They look like monsters to you?" (spoilers done) James could look like a giant bug creature to her for all we know. We don't see things from her perspective. Finally, look at the way Angela moves her body in this scene. "Lost?" She cocks her head to the side as if she never heard the word before. Why that is, we can debate but everything about the movement of the models tells that this was not bad direction in voice acting. This was very much done on purpose and with purpose. With all this together, is it that strange that they talk different? Really?
