The ground level shots really show the immense size of the sections of the Golden Ray on the dry dock.

You had me on the edge of my seat watching the big crane swing the 390 around and lower it onto the barge. It's quite interesting to see some of the behind the scenes activity. Great catch there Andy.

Those raising and slide forward cabs are great for many applications, The raise is great for unloading gravel etc. from rail waggons, the slide forward for looking into shafts and the list goes on. In the old days operators had to rely on watching a banksman hand for operation signals or use a two way radio. This can be very boring especially doing fine movements, now the operator can see what he's doing.

Wow that was awesome… the only thing that could have been the ultimate would have been if you could have gotten into the cab of the 360…I could tell when you were showing the cab in the beginning wishing you could have sat in the cab and played with a few gadgets 😅😅😅 Thank you so much…this was very enjoyable… Stay safe and dry and God Bless 🙏🌹🌹💕🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

It is a slow ballet. Every move is carefully made and planned. No wonder this project takes time: to be safe things move slowly. I believe the safety record has been very good given the dangerous tasks involved in this effort. So many moving parts involved. Thanks for the wonderful video. We hope you are feeling well.

Man that 390 is a monster…before retiring I used 80 foot sometimes 120 foot creepers(manlifts)and I thought the 120 footer was kind of large but that Fuchs is a monster-of course it does a completely different job than a manlift, but you are right its great to watch him ply his trade..what skill!!

Cap'n. There are often unsung heros or stars of a show. That Fuchs operator is one of them. He makes that thing dance. Thank you to him for the demo. That was great. Great to see a face. I'm sure there are many more who like this guy do their work well. Thanks Andy for approaching this guy. I have never see one where the cab can be elevated.

Amazing, absolutely amazing. Such precision and skill for both the equipment and operators of the crane and the grappler. Thank you once again for a great video on how things are done. Goes to show it just *doesn't happen*. A lot of skill and coordination in both moving and operating. Be safe!

That is an incredible machine. He is a master. The artistry by two different pieces of equipment. They jobs that are not for the faint of heart.

The message of this video is that unless you have the largest machine, do not park or dock in the wrong spot in the Port of Bruswick. It is not the fine you might receive, but where and how they relocate your vehicle or vessel.
