Y'know, sometimes, I wonder what the purpose of Silverfish is.
Then something like 10:34 happens, and it all becomes crystal clear.
It's one of my favorite moment from this mini series :D Every time I watch it, I can't help by laugh.
Now imagine a challenge inverse to this where upon leaving a chunk it becomes locked and permanently inaccessible

By entering the portal room chunk, then entering the End, the portal chunk becomes locked. Hopefully the players doesn't die.

I'd like a variation of this, but there is a, like, 5x5 chunk area that keeps slowly moving. So you have to scavenge and live on the go. You get a shulker box st the start

This mod is amazing! I've been wanting a minecraft mod like this ever since seeing the project zomboid mod with a similar premise. Can't wait to torture- I mean embrace the chaos of this mod with my friends :D

I wonder when we are going to start seeing chunk lock speedruns. Side note it would be nice if everyone who is in the end when the dragon is slain got the acheivment instead of just the person to land the final blow.
100% agree on the dragon achievement. Also speedruns are already happening!

Yes! You can switch the difficulty to hard or impossible.

-3892090841840157046 is the first seed i used and you need mangrove slab and stair, melon seeds, and iron trapdoor so i think i found one of the hardest seeds because i spawned in a jungle

This seems really fun! There appears to be some sort of glitch where the chunk borders and items required only seem to appear on a certain Y level, making it impossible to know what you need to progress on things like mountains, I'm wondering if there is any sort of fix for this?
Thanks! Are you playing single player or multiplayer? The chunk items should follow the y height of the nearest player.
Hey there, sorry for the late reply, the problem seems to mostly appear in singleplayer worlds, I've played briefly with some friends but I was going to make a second play through on my own, which is when I noticed it, I'm not sure what causes it, as occasionally the blue markers themselves only appear at certain Y levels, and occasionally it's just the chunk items, thank you for your response!
EDIT: There also seems to be an issue where putting the datapack in the world when making it doesn't work, this can be fixed by doing /datapack enable but it tends to cause one of the previously mentioned issues, I'm not sure why this is happening as it seemed to work fine on multiplayer?
I think I may have fixed this actually, it appears the issue was with the launcher I was using, there appears to be some sort of conflict with the Lunar Client, most of these issues fixed upon me switching to the base minecraft launcher

Sorry! The mechanics used to make chunklock work are all exclusive to Java. Maybe one day bedrock will get some of the cool things Java got in 1.19.
