In this video I install a stock interiors carpet (Auto Custom Carpets) into my Civic EF (1989 civic Si). Overall, I am very happy with the final outcome!
Cool to see someone else from CO, subbed just for that haha. I've thought about getting a Stock Interiors carpet as well, but the little sagging spots would bother me. Maybe some of those thick double-sided adhesive strips would help hold it down for a more OE finish?
Next time just clean the factory one as much as you can and paint it with using black fabric paint it will save you time and money i will look just as good..
Unfortunately, it had a TON of mold on it. Car had been sitting for 11 years with a water leak... it was also in pretty bad shape. I would have gotten one from a junkyard, but I couldn't find any.
This is badass. I subscribed so I could watch your progress. Keep up the great work and keep posting when you work on the car.
Thanks, Ben! I wish I had grabbed the camera when I first picked it up - would have had a ton more to film!

Honestly I could have gotten rid of the sagging entirely if I had spent more time on it. Was rushing towards the end because I was tired LOL
