Your truck sounds badass! I am getting ready to do the same thing. Thanks for the video!
Thanks, how’d yours turn out?
Sounds good.
Thanks
Was both the resonator delete and downpipes a direct bolt on with the stock muffler or did you have to do any cut/welds?
Bo Weichel downpipes are direct fit, had to trim resonator delete down a bit to get the exact length. Quick cut with a grinder and a cut off wheel.
Imagine the spd down pipe with the borla atak system
I’ve thought about it but don’t think I could put up with it going down the highway.
Probably the best sounding ecoboost without being annoying. Any drone or anything? Still have this setup?
Stoetz can’t barely hear it inside, no drone at all. And teas still same setup, but have been thinking about upgrading to a little more open muffler. I want to hear it in the cab a little more.
Crocs& Socks I have a similar setup. I have adaptors and a Large MF muffer with a res. Might just delete the res.
It’s one from a borla kit..
Sergio M I’ve been thinking about gettin a different muffler, post a sound clip with url!
Crocs& Socks hit me up on IG Sierra_foxtrot_mike
You still have the same exhaust setup?
Yessir
are you using a tune ? or still stock with that setup?
It was stock when I shot this
What down pipes di you got with? And are the catted?
SPD 3” Downpipes, high flow cats. Included link, but looking back I would have gone with Catless and used 02 sensors spacers to trick the ECU.

Sounds pretty good. What did it do to performance?
They open it up a bit and let it breathe more for sure!
Any dive by clips ?
Somewhere I'll see if I can find them
Is this with the stock muffler
Joe Craig yessir that is with stock muffler.
Crocs& Socks awesome thanks for the reply
Stock muffler sounds like?
At the beginning of the video
Any check engine light with down pipes ?
No sir, in fact I was getting a bad o2 sensor light before install and after install it went away. The cat itself must have been clogged up.
Is this stock with just SPD Downpipe and Resonator delete? Or is this downpipe and catback?
SPD High flow catted downpipe and res delete. Still running stock muffler. Waiting for better weather to put 3" exhaust cutout on.
Alright thanks, I have a 4in straight pipe from cat back and am looking into this SPD downpipe for my 2020. How was the install? Did you get the spd turbo adapters as well?
Nice, send me a link to the clip when you do it.
I took it to an exhaust shop, they only charged me 100$ so it was well worth the money in my eyes. If I had a lift I would have done it here.
I only did downpipes no adapters, I couldn't justify the price to benefit of the adapters at the time.
Ya I am debating the same thing with the adapters, I will send you a link when I get it done. I am adding a AFE stage 2 xp dual air intake this weekend then downpipe is next on list. Did you tune after you did the downpipe? If so did you see any gains?
@@xStudlicious24 yes, I went with MPT, I'm running the 91 PRX tune. I've been meaning to run a data log and send it to them to get custom 91 PRX tune, but I've been slacking on videos and truck stuff lately. But yes it's a night and day difference, I'm gonna try to get my custom tune done on next week.
Honestly on just a tune you will see the massive gains.
I have a 3 inch spd highflow down pipe with no resonator just Muffler and it sounds bone stock wtf lol
Whitegleeshy only other thing I did was drop in a dry high flow reusable air filter.
Resonator isn't really gonna do a difference, if you want a difference change the muffler. With the new downpipes and the reasonator deleted adds a little more turbo spool in your exhaust is all.
@@ooozooo7333 yeah that’s all I wanted. But I have been thinking about adding an electronic cut out.
Does it throw a cel?
No check engine lights. At least never for the exhaust.
What ecoboost engine?
jaime loya 3.5
That’s sounds like a civic with a rust hole in the muffler... lol. I love my ecoboost but I’m not doing an exhaust. I’ve NEVER heard any ecoboost exhaust, off the shelf or custom, that sounds good at rev. They all sound awesome at cold start and idle but ALL sound raspy(ricer) at rev... I don’t want my truck to sound like a rived out civic
I bought it for the speed and power not the sound the video was for everyone else that was curious about SPD downpipes. Wait till I put the electric cut out on it!
@@CZcamsCert I got you. The raspy sound would just annoy me. I have a roush intake, spd turbo adapters, + just received spd catted DP’s to bolt up to my stock exhaust since my drivers cat is bad + Black Friday deal on the DP’s means I got them for about what just the oem drivers cat costs
@@Monkeywrenchmotorcycles the cut out is also for speed, open it to go fast, close to quite it down.
You feel any gains with the turbo adapters?
@@CZcamsCert not by themselves. Didn’t feel any difference on the butt dyno and for the cost and time it takes ok to do them I REALLY wanted it to be faster...
@@Monkeywrenchmotorcycles I could tell a diff with downpipes, I usually do all my own work but I took it to an exhaust shop and had them put mine on just because it's so much easier with a lift, only took about an hour and cost 150$
dat turbo whistle tho...
Thanks man, I like it too!
Just needs a v8
The super charged 5.2 v8 would be the best but who has 150k for the raptor R.
