My favorite One Piece villains so far are Crocodile, Doflamingo and Akainu.

Calling Crocodile a miniature Yonkou is pretty accurate, and not just Crocodile, the whole Alabasta Saga is a miniature of the Yonkou Saga. The crew enters a starting point in Grandline (Paradise and New World), picks up a tag-along crew who happened to be a royalty, ends up saving said royalty's country. Both final villain are the strongest at each given point in time (Warlords and Yonkou). Baroque Works and Kaido's officers are the only villain organization with official rankings among the members (the Sweet Commanders have too, but they didn't fight the whole crew). After the saga, both royalty ends up staying in their country. Both countries related to the same Ancient Weapon. Both royalties are heavily important in the Void Century plot (Vivi coming in clutch in ch. 1084 lol).
Having recently rewatched the alabasta Saga, crocodiles power level is honestly underrated. His ability to disintegrate stuff straight up is pretty nuts

Katakuri was such a good character that came out of no where. No one expected him and there was no buildup for him like the Yonko or Doflomingo. He just showed up and stole the show. One of my friends mentioned something that made me look at him in a different light to. My friend told me that Katakuri is basically what Luffy would have been if he joined Shanks crew as a kid and grew up on his crew. If Luffy was basically raised to be a top commander under Shanks and basically his son. Luffy and Katakuri would have been Mirror images.
I completely agree with you, katakuri and luffy is possibly my favorite fight in the entire show (at wano rn) and doffy is my fav villain. Those two have a special place in my heart, i biased put katakuri at s tier
@@sgappi8801 I think A is a good place to put him because he wasn't a focus. There wasn't a lot of backstory and like I said before he didn't have the buildup. Plus with Big Mom being terrifying but in the end was kind of underwhelming it still felt like he was more of an after thought. If Big Mom didn't exist or there was a story about how she died and Katakuri took over and was the Yonko..... He would have been my favorite villain by far.

Putting bellamy in A tier was a W move. Other onepiece villain tier lists I've seen are like "Ugh I hate bellamy, f tier" but he was actually really effective as a villain.

Dude, Bellamy getting obliterated by a Luffy is probably my favorite moment in the series, other than maybe Whitebeards death. I legit could feel my heart beating massively faster than normal as I was reading up to that moment on my reread. I honestly might put Bellamy in the S tier for that moment.

Lucci, Enel, and Blackbeard are my three S tiers. Lucci pushed Luffy to his absolute limits. Enel is symbolic of Luffy’s struggle against authority. And Blackbeard is Luffy’s rival.
Quick reminder: Enel could kill Luffy if only Luffy didn't have top 1 plot armor

Katakuri is my favorite by far. He's just a badass, and in my opinion gives the best fight in the whole series. I think he deserves more developement, and screen time.
Akainu kinda is a fan favorite, at least in certain parts of the fandom. I like him. Great video though.

I would put Akainu in S tier, but thats because I'm a massive admiral fan. Also, I'm surprized you didn't have Kizaru in the list, I wonder where he would rank in your opinion, to me he is A tier.

i was thinking that akainu should be S tier but after seeing who was in S tier i realized a was good because at the end of the day akainu was jus doing his job and he does it because he thinks its “justice”
@@samvstheworld166 But I feel that he played more of a role in the story than some S-tier villains. I consider Akainu to be more of a villain and more intimidating than Crocodile.
Solid list, but I feel like kaido is too high and moria is too low. Most of the suffering and pain wano went through was because of orochi, and kaido was just a tough, strong opponent and nothing more. Even though its a common comparison, moria is kind of what luffy would be if he lost his crew. During sabaody and after marineford luffy felt hopeless and was in despair. Moria served as a warning for the new world and a product of what the dangers there can do to you.
kaido is my fav villain. he pushed luffy more than anybody else and i just love his whole persona of just wanting to fight someone whos as strong as him. orochi was just annoying and i hated him.
Moria was a lazy bum when he faced the Straw Hats. There's nothing impressive about him as an antagonist. "Meh" is precisely my reaction to him as an antagonist.
Fun Fact: Foxy was closer to being a Strawhat than Yamato OR Carrot

Awesome list, imo I’d put Arlong in A tier. I feel he doesn’t match up to the likes of Doffy and Crocodile, how devious they are and their reputation. Arlong was a good , but kinda straightforward villain, I’d put him above Bellamy

Ut I just think it's weird that you said you're only rating buggy for his role in orange town arc and nothing forward from that, but you're willing to include Bellamy and arlong's later appearances. Hell buggy would've succeeded in cutting off luffys head in logue town if Luffy didn't have mc armor

A Tier - Black Beard , Akainu , Lucci and Crocodile
B tier - Big Mom , Ceaser , Megeliun , Arlong , Buggy , Enel , Kuro
C Tier - Gecko Moria , Bellemi and Mr 3
D Tier - Foxi , Alvida , Werpool , Hordy Jones , Don Creeg and the Guy who attack Luffy in Childhood

Kuro is definitely A the only thing missing is his ambition if he has that he's gonna be S tier, he got an evil plan, manipulative, he got the skills too (first strong villain that could pose a threat to luffy and zoro), he is also highly intelligent 2nd only to ben beckman in all of east blue. A very underrated villain.

Katakuri has to be in S tier due to the mental battle the Luffy and him had. That battle serves as one of the best in the show.

I do have mad respect for katakuri, I just started on the wano arc but in whole cake when he was fighting luffy, he stabbed himself to make things fair because his little sister shot at luffy. S tier imo.

B tier-- kaido ( he was introduced as a strong pirate rather than a villain or I didn't actually feel like he was a villain)
Katakuri, gecko moria, kuro ( could be A tier for his sneaky acts), hordy
C tier-- buggy, foxy.

I would love blackbeard as the final villain more than imu just because luffy has nothing relevant with imu and has no connection so their fight would be just beating a strong guy and saving the world. Luffy and BB on the other hand would be interesting (especially if BB kils garp). Shanks would also be great too (if he is a villain).
What I think will happen is :
You remember that location of 1 road poneglyph is unknown.
What if World Government stole it.
Just imagine if, for some reason, Luffy will start actual war beetween strawhats + co. and World Goverment.
And BB will use them as distraction to steal road poneglyph.
And the final battle is going to be BB vs Luffy for the final clue to location of the One Piece.
Buggy was so intimidating had the second df of the series cruel know shanks, easly A tier
Doffy is the kind of guy who would help you set up a Christmas tree then burn it instantly after
I would switch some of these up, because their part in the plot, and their overall evilness, and their plans.

Bigmom imo is like a C or B, shes pretty much budget Kaido

Akainu is S tier.He is the only villain that has taken something most valuable to Luffy. Plus, Akainu doesn’t play around. If he had knocked Luffy out like Kaido, that would be it. RIP luffy, gg go next for one piece for the next will of D. But other than that, solid.

why were you talking so good abt Gecko Moria but put him in C tier lol? I would've put him in A tier or even S tier honestly bc of all the things he's done. He scared the shit out of the straw hats when he did shadow Asgard and everything he did in that arc was pretty menacing. Just like you said, he rlly made the straw hats struggle. Like Luffy had to use multiple gear 2's and 3's and then combined both of them and that still didn't defeat him. And keep in mind that the whole crew was fighting using their full power. And finally, Luffy used shadow man which finished him off (Shadow man is a little below gear 4 probably). But that is strength, not the actual villain. But still, he's my top 5 villains bc of everything I mentioned.
Honestly if I had to chance this I would put buggy higher like kn a high B tier because he’s like the rival of Luffy he was shown to be part of Gol.D rogers crew later on in the story he also met Reileigh and shanks before too.. honestly he has to be very strong in order to meet 4 very powerful people.. Another thing Is he survived impel down with literally no bruises or anything during the whole arc.. he also went from being a crew member from Gol.D rogers crew and survived to being one of the 4 emperors of the sea. He also has more bounty than Luffy and has a higher chance in becoming the pirate king with mihawk, and crocodile on his side.. His villainy arc showed a lot especially when he went all out in order to find Luffy and execute him and was extremely close if it wasn’t for luffys father saving him in logue town Buggy even teamed with Alvin’s and other famous pirates known all over the world just to become king of the pirates I think he deserves even more than just C tier
