That's sleeping beauty that the fairy God moms were fighting over the color of the dress.... One of my favorite movies by the way love the dress it does remind me of that
A Gunnee Sax!!!!! They are hard to find!! When I was a teenager, Gunnee Sax were THE dress to wear in the 70s. They were so feminine and romantic. I wore one to the prom!💐
My favorite was definitely the one you're wearing on film, that dress was made for you. I also loved the white titanic dress and the beautiful blue dress you showed us at the end 🌸.
I love thrifting, it is so much fun and I have found the most beautiful pieces over the years. Treasure your thrift finds for they are so beautiful and look so nice on you ✨💕
All of those dresses are soooo beautiful! I love vintage stuff although I rarely can pull them off! All those looked stunning on you! Great finds and I look forward to seeing more vintage pieces of yours.
All of those dresses are dreams!!! I love your style and yes, there is quite a thrill associated with finding a great thrift item! Kinda of like knowing that it’s one of a kind ?
I love thrifting so much! I basically grew up with it so over the years I got to learn to appreciate those shops and I barely go to regular stores anymore haha
I am so happy I found your video I love vintage I love the dress you have on & I also love the pink one they are all so pretty . The Gunne Sax clothing label is retired & owned now by Jessica McClintock . Collectors on the Gunne Sax consider clothing with the original "black label," used only in 1969, the most valuable. A "hearts label" was used for a short time following, until the 1970s and early 1980s larger label with scrollwork was put into use. Thank you for showing your treasures of vintage ! ( Judy )
The dresses you bought are so cute! I wish I could find some like them. Especially the white one you are wearing throughout the video and the blue one at the end you suit them so much!
Omg! I have seen A LOT of vintage clothing hauls, but so far I think yours is my favorite! You have some amazing dresses, and I would wear each and every one! They all look so beautiful on you too. Thanks for this video, and the inspiration! I think the one you're wearing through most of the video is my favorite, but it's hard to pick. New subscriber here : )
Have you ever been to lemon grove or la mesa ? they are kind of connected but downtown area has like 20 antique stores at least they did when I lived there 12 years ago and It was so much fun spending all day going in and out of them!
I just checked out antiques on 4th street in Clovis!! Lots of good stuff some priced fair some a little expensive. I got two gloves and an apron for ~16$
i go thrifting all the time, but whenever i go vintage shopping everything is reeeallly expensive! I live in SoCal too, so I might try some of the stores you mentioned! You certainly have some gorgeous finds there! 💖
I love vintage dresses too! The one you are wearing here, reminded me of the one I bought some months ago. I swear, someone got married with the dress, and it actually feels weird to wear it but holy holy it is so amazing. A vintage wedding dress. If you want to see it it is on my instagram (@luisasme). The photos in the forest. Loved the video (as always)! 🦋💙
God I love a good thrift haul video and vicariously feeling that 'thrill' you described. I am so envious of ALL those dress especially at the prices that you bought them for, in the UK you have to sift through hundreds of frogs at charity shops to find an affordable vintage gem once in a blue moon. I feel like the final dress is something the girls from the Beauxbatons Academy would wear (possible halloween idea)!
I actually have a couple of decently priced local vintage stores that will either sell directly over Instagram or in store, despite living in arguably a classic vintage desert. They've been selling some old stock over Instagram because they can't open the store, so I got an 80's Laura Ashley sundress for under £25 with postage. Buy equally my local charity shops are godawful
I adore Gunne Sax! I had one in the 90's, when I was a teen. I found it at a yard sale for $8. I used to call it my handmaiden dress. I wish there were Gunne Sax dresses in plus sizes. Now that I'm older and gained some weight, no way could I ever fit into one. They were originally made in the 70's, the whole prairie girl look which I absolutely love! You should definitely check out the movie Picnic at Hanging Rock, it's so cool, it is set in Australia, the atmosphere is light and airy but also mysterious. The girls all wear Gunne Sax dresses. I'm a mori girl myself and natural kei and also mori kind of cross over into 70's retro Holly Hobbie kind of fashion as well. Your Gunne Sax is a treasure, you are lucky to have it!
Stuff in sf!!! There’s one lady who owns a little spot in the store that’s specifically vintage women clothing and accessories. It’s absolutely adorable if I weren’t plus sized I’d definitely go crazy in her little booth section.
Oh my God I used to own the first dress that you opened with! (My mom ended up selling due to a miscommunication after I moved out and oh man was I in tears 😥😥) So stunning on you! Love your style Wore it for Halloween as a porcelain doll. Purchased it from my small town second hand store and it turned out to be my Kindergartner teacher's grad dress 😂😂
Ikr I'm going thro all the old videos of her and Kenna and I honestly really miss that Era. There was just something so cozy/homey about their content. And honestly their DIY game was strong like Kenna would come with the most original ish DIYs. After Covid my worldview has really changed and life is just not as exciting it used to it so I'd just come here on CZcams to watch old content.
@@sannyan848 I‘m trying to also do cozy videos, maybe you are interested in seeing mine~ but I absolutely relate… there is no comparison to them in this era 😯
Yeah whenever i go to estate sales antique stores ect.. i ALWAYS first look at the books and clotheing but sadly one of my most favorite secound hand stores closed down 😑😑😑
Love this haul!! 💗 La Boutique is an amazing antique shop you should visit! it's in Hemet but holy cow, I just died in there a million times! 💗💗💗 Prices weren't too bad either I definitely think you should check it out! I filmed a vlog on it if you want to see a bit of it maybe check if it's your taste & there was a whole other side to the shop that I didn't even film but I got quite a bit of it if you wanna see! 💗
CUTEST CUTIEEE. Also that last dress is totally Beauxbaton-esque!
Yes omg
The white dress that you're wearing is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.

Your earrings are nice. Are they a bell? Would love a close up and brand.

I bought a gunne sax dress for a wedding dress! It was a prom dress, circa 1984. Satin and lace, and a bustle, beautiful!
All of those dresses are soooo beautiful! I love vintage stuff although I rarely can pull them off! All those looked stunning on you! Great finds and I look forward to seeing more vintage pieces of yours.

If you're ever in San Diego try going to Consignment Classics on Kurtz st. That's where I get all my vintage dresses and accessories.
Oooh! You could be Mary poppins in the white dress and red belt, like what she wears during “Jolly Holiday”
I adore Gunne Sax! I had one in the 90's, when I was a teen. I found it at a yard sale for $8. I used to call it my handmaiden dress. I wish there were Gunne Sax dresses in plus sizes. Well you are THAT PERSON and thats okay!! That's also what I meant hahahahaha
There are no old fashioned, thrift stores in Singapore that sells ‘nice’ clothes... it’s really sad.
