Thank you that was very interesting and fun to watch can't wait for other one 😬😬😬😬
@@ali-awada thank you very much i well and I'm sure I'm going enjoy it thanks 👍👍👍👍👍👍
"It’s playing with him, Grant thought." this scene and line meant two things while the young rex was actively playing with regis it was also learning how easy humans were to kill
@@killergoose3436 Yup, exactly as Malcolm theorized with raptors earlier in the novel.
There are so many of these scenes he could do.
@@killkenny6272 I'd love to see a lot of the novel redone
I never thought I would see the actual book version on screen. This is outstanding!
Thank you!
Man, I still remember reading this for the first time. One of the most horrifying scenes in the entire franchise.
Second only to Nedry’s death.
@@Dinoslaythat scene with the baby in the beginning of the book was pretty horrifying, too
Yoooo duke
How in the world a small YT channel can give better JP wibes than the multi million studio! Broo they should make such dark JP movie :)
He followed the source material to the latter
Nice portrayal of the Juvenile. Looks just like you'd expect him to. That being that they haven't grown into their head yet. Also great to show that even young carnivores are something to be wary of. People always focus on the adult when its the you that are scarier. Since more often then not they can fit inside buildings.
My only criticism is here. Juveniles would be slimmer/lighter looking. Buts hard to get that right. There's a word for how animals and dinos change as they grow. But in T-Rexs they went from light fast raptor like hunters to huge muscular creatures as they grew. But it doesn't matter that much.
That's big mama from turok lolllll
Juvenile tyrannosaur did a lot of the hunting and are more scary than the adult because can move faster , me wishing people do homework before commenting 🤔
@@kudosbudo I think he went for the novel's description which, IIRC, was more in the line of "adult T-Rex build but smaller".
The way this person was escaping seems he himself wanted to get eaten alive 😂
Aahhh yeah, i remeber this part of the book. When Grant and the kids see Regis and the young T-Rex at the distance in a road, and Regis tries to scares the dinosaur but it fails, just like the video. I would like more novel scenes in a future, like Arnold's death, or Grant contaminating the Velociraptor eggs, or Hammond's death, just for naming some scenes. You are awesome
Doesn't Arnold's death still happen off-screen? If I remember we do get more time with him still and even a chase scene, but his fate while almost obvious isn't confirmed still until Ellie arrives, right? 🙏
That man really went to Jurassic Park intending to make every wrong decision he possibly could. Respect.
LOL
Awesome! You should do the T rex river scene or the death of Dr. Wu next!
Thank you! Yeah, I am interested in remaking the river raft scene at some point!
@ali-awada yes please 🙏
@@ali-awada Oh my. That's one hell of a job!
Even I thought death of Henry Wu . . . 😊😊
@ThePrincessziah1 yes. Hammond dies in the first book too. They are also very different characters
0:21 Lex: Hey! Where are you going? HE LEFT US! HE LEFT US!
The movies really did Gennaro dirty. Giving him all of Ed Regis' traits when he was such a gigachad in the book.
@@ArkaelisAgreed. Book Gennaro went with Muldoon to take down the Rex and some raptors, and then fights off a raptor all on his own. He even managed to keep the cargo ship carrying the young raptors from docking.
Every thing is so accurate. The leech, the sounds (especially the frog's, the sound starts and edregis thinks trex went away but again sound stops because rex is back) and the way regis shouts and beats the snout of rex. . . Kudos 👏👏👏
I love the book accurate animations. It really captures the more animalistic nature of them. And how shit scared people would actually become when faced with a beast like this! I feel like the movies always made only the big bad a danger at all.
All of your animations always force me to realise the opposite is very true.
I think that’s mainly because the last time a human faced a predator close to the text’s size it was thousands of years ago
Thank you for making all these moments from the book that we didnt see play out on screen.
If im not mistaken, Regis's death was the first character we actually got to know who was killed off rather than Gennaro. I remembered listening to the audio book and feeling really anxious about it.
Amazing work!!
You're welcome :) yes, you're correct!
Great animation. I half expected Dr. Grant and the kids to have a cameo hiding behind a tree lol.
Most interestingly, the Spielberg adaptation fused Regis with Gennaro and instead of the juvenile it was the adult rex that did him in. Crichton even referenced the movie character’s toilet death by having his version of Gennaro dying from dysentery between the two novels.
Crichton didn't "reference" the toilet death, he wrote the novel four years before the film.
@@worldzerogaming3082 Are you referring to The Lost World novel by that? Because if you are that was definitely after the release of the first movie where said death takes place.
@@Dinoslay oh you’re right… my fault
You really nailed the environment and sfx on this one. The storm and rain are fabulous.
Thanks man!
Still love the Turok Rex design and I think it works great here
The running down the hill sequence was incredible work.
Thank you!
That fall should have killed him 😂
Wow, that's so close to the book. Nice work loved it!!!!
Thanks!
Bro that was terrifying 💀
Human “Back you!”
Juvenile T Rex “You did not just tell me what to do!”
Ah that Juvenile T-Rex was always a pain in the ass! Super great take on this. I caught the tail end of the live but the suspense brought me back to view again!
Sound. Let’s get this movable feast underway!
You're really doing God's work for us novel fans.
It’s really cool seeing the scenes from the novels that never made it to the films
Your shorts make me more on edge than 99% of horror films these days
THAT WAS SO GOOD! I only wish this was in the actual movie! 🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖
The guy: Back! back!
T-Rex: Let me thinking
I think that’s supposed to be that lawyer guy from the Jurassic Park in the novel the baby T-Rex was playing with him, but then he starts threatening it and then wind up getting eaten by the juvenile at the end that’s what he gets for. Leaving Lex and Tim in the Jeep
@@tayahoneybearreactionit is funny how to the untrained eye it looks like they are fighting when in reality they are playing
@@dionjaywoollaston1349 exactly. I mean it’s only a baby. It couldn’t help itself for playing rough. That’s how all baby animals do even though some animals now and days are not like baby T-Rex, but I didn’t expect for Rexy to have a baby, when I was reading the novel, I wonder how the baby got out
@@tayahoneybearreaction maybe T-Rex’s are extremely protective of their young, thinking about it the staff at ingen probably sedated rexy and rubbed the infant in it’s bodily fluids to convince it she was its baby.
The dinosaurs of Jurassic park were made of a mix of animals so it’s not impossible that one of them is amphibious reptiles such as crocodiles and alligators
@@dionjaywoollaston1349 ooooh ok 👍🏾 well I wonder what this creator is going to make next that comes out of the novel
I remember this scene been so frightening in the book, especially as Grant, watching from a distance, knows that the Juvenile is just playing with Ed Regis and that Regis has no chance of escape. Whilst Regis acted in a cowardly manner, he was a broadly sympathetic figure, just some poor guy who was out of his depth. The whole scene really captured who fragile man is when placed in nature's way. Also, great work!
Jurassic Park studios need to hire you ASAP, you're legit one of the most talented creators!
Love the mama Rex from Turok design, great job man !
That was awesome, Ali! I loved the part where the sounds all cut out, right before the rex pounces! So good! I can't wait to see your take on more scenes from the novels!
So awesome to see this animated. In any circumstance when one is cornered by a juvenile predator, I think he did what he could best do when encountering a bear. I would have booked it but it would probably have seen me as prey once my back is turned.
This was stupendously presented, Mr Ali! well done!
Another mind blowing short here Ali! Makes me relive my childhood nightmares being chased by a T-Rex in the dark and rain after watching the original LOL! Bro, you did a phenomenal job bringing back the horror of the original while providing a whole new character and experience within that same horror we’ve felt in childhood! Keep them coming Ali, can’t wait for the next episode of Sorna! 🎬💯🦖😎👍🏻
Thank you brother ❤️
Always! ❤️😎👍🏻
The suspense at times felt overwhelming 😳 great job!!! More please!!
Great work! 👌
The Juvenile would work well in the upcomming survival game like this.
These are getting better and better!!
SWEET!
A new short film to watch when I get home from work tomorrow afternoon. 👍🏻🦖
The baby t-rex was playing with Regis to see if he's food.
A classic novel scene *excellently* brought to life (👏)! I like how the sounds you chose for the juvenile Rex _do_ differentiate it from the adult; I appreciate touches like that (👍).
For some odd reason Ed Regis’s death use to haunt me when I was younger. The fact that the juvenile kept toying with him over and over you were just anticipating his death. But it’s described as a blood curdling screen that abruptly gets cutoff as the juvenile perks its head back up with a chunk of flesh in its mouth.
Okay that’s just as terrifying as it is in the novel
Thag was great. I like the part of him saying backoff, like it's a bad dog. 👍
The juveniles roar was so cool!
The environment got so realistic but also scarier in comparison to the older videos, nice job man❤❤❤❤❤
Seeing this strictly from his perspective really adds another layer to the story. Love it.
Another story brilliantly made I enjoyed every second of this movie . Keep up the good work Ali.
I appreciate the bravery of the guy to say "Get away" "back off" and thought he would get away from Rexy. 😂
very nice and great sequence in the forest 👏
The sound effects, the animation, voice acting and detail, and the amazing plot twist at the end. It is all absolutely phenomenal. 💯 Magnificent job!
Thanks so much!
Actually, that’s my voice you’re hearing from my narration video of the juvenile T. rex. 😁
@anthonytorresproductions You did an amazing job on narration on the juvenile T Rex.
@@kristiehoffrichter5874 he sure did!
Definitely one of the stand-out moments in the novel, I remember how repulsive the leeches were and that little glimmer of hope for Regis to find his way to safety when he almost reunited with the other survivors. I think of everything I've seen in the videos so far, I definitely physically reacted to the impacts of Regis falling down the hill most haha.
A suggestion for another novel scene I think that would be really fun is when Grant gets to the boat house and him and the kids start to escape down the river only to discover the T-rex can swim.
I really do hope you make more of these based on the novel in the future because these videos are awsome
You're getting better and better at animation, it's so great to see how far you've come !! :) Your videos are always brilliant and give that real Jurassic Park feel all of us crave for
Thank you!
So good, just like in the novel. Even though the juvenile T-Rex is not as big as Rexy, it's still a strong animal capable to kill
Excellent work, Ali 😁 thank you so much 😉
Thanks! Yeah I stuck to about 8 feet tall like the novel
This is exactly how I’d imagine that scene from the book to go. Great job and thanks for the content. Looking forward to more sorna and more of these scenes from the books we never saw in the movies 😁
Man, Regis, you really need to shave. Well, too late now. And the way he ran so fast back into the forest was hilarious. 😜😆
I could've sworn the juvenile Rex was a bit smaller in the book, maybe a little bigger than the baby in _The Lost World._ Anyway, this is a perfect example of playing with your food in the most gruesome manner.
As terrifying and awesome as
ever❤ these types of videos are my weakness waiting for more🥰
If only Ali was the director of the next Jurassic Film!
Ed Regis? 🦖👀
This was excellent as you always give! Would you be able to do Arnold’s or Hammond’s death scenes? Wu’s? You capture the darkness of the novel wonderfully!
WOW! I love these animations! I making a 1st part of a stop motion short series based on JWD, theme like TLW. I'm always so inspired!
It premieres at 5am my time and that just happens to be right when I wake up. Can't wait!
Doing videos on the novels...hell yes!!!
A ambientação da animação está incrível 🎉.
The animation setting is incredible 🎉
I think you have talent as a director.
I don't know if it was intentionally animated to look like the stop-motion animatic of the T-Rex road attack, but it definitely adds so much to the vibe!
This is an amazing video, and a great adaptation from the novels! Amazing work! Love the animation and sounds!
Thank you!
Yes! The Juvenile! True to the book! And so so good! You r awesome! ❤
Thank you
i love the use of mama scarface for the juvinile
YYEEESSS THANK YOU!!!
Bro the editing has gotten so much better n smooth, human animation, graphics, intense music etc… keep it up ❤❤
Thank you 🙌
Shouting front of T-Rex ? It's bad idea 💀💀 .
😂😂😂😂
YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES
Yes?
Yes
Yes
Yeppedi yep
yet again another amazing video you never fail to disapoint
Jurassic Lord never disappoints.
Damn! This is exactly how Jurassic Park is supposed to be: full of horror, anxiety, and heart thumping sequences.
While the movies are great, their tendency to fixate on the science fiction/humanitarian/chield friendly aspect of the franchise really deprives the viewers of witnessing Crichton's original creative intent and depiction.
Jurassic Park is supposed to be horror interspersed with science fiction.
Muchas gracias Ali por los excelentes momentos que nos otorgas con estos cortometrajes, ánimo Ali tu el que siembra con esfuerzo su cosecha será grande.
You are most welcome!
Great video
That running animation is hilarious😂
great scene choice! already know this is gonna be good 😁
Oh wow, amazing work as always
Gotta say, when I read this chapter, I did find this scene a little confusing to visualize in the events going on. This really cleared up what happened, great work!!
So wild finally seeing these iconic scenes brought to the screen, and in such an accurate way!
Excellent adaptation! Congratulations! 📓🎦
Thank you!
Absolutely amazing, man!
Am I the only one thinking that the lightning strike at around 2:44 is somehow referencing the first appearance of the T-Rex in Fallen Kingdom?
Just me? Yeah, I kind of thought so.
Nice use of the scene from the book, though has some differences to it, but I enjoyed the changes here as it was still the same scene at the core
This is how JP should be: Scary till the edge of your seat. Will you direct the next film?!?
You are a genius. Waiting for this one iam sure it's gonna be a lit🔥
Awww 🥰 baby Rexy… stop playing with ur food! 🤣
The juvenile justice system ate the guy up. Yikes.
These short videos have so much suspense, something the Jurassic World films failed to understand.
Ali, your work is phenomenal. Please, keep these coming.
Thank you!
@@ali-awada These videos are fun to watch.
Another fantastic book adaptation bro. Just perfect. 📖🦖👌
Can't wait
I wish you could do the whole novel this way. 🤩 The adaptation we never had.
I CAN'T WAIT! 🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖
Bro, respect to you. You did something different that people want, dark and terryfying scenery, just delicious
What would be a really cool scene to do is when Arby is in the cage and the raptors roll it away or the first Carnataurus attack, both from the Lost World.
Congratulations 👏 Ali on doing a phenomenal 🥳 job creating this terrifying chapter in the book 📖. I was so 😨 scared the animation was crisp and great 😃👍 job 👏 on the CGI for the Young T- Rex what a NIGHTMARE!!! I always appreciate your hard work and dedication to your videos 📷 and I love 😍🤩 watching them. If I was Steven Spielberg I would definitely 😁 give you a call 🤙 and would want to collaborate with you and have a cameo for you in the 🆕 Jurassic Park 🏞️ Movie 🍿🎥😃. Steven and Universal are truly missing out and they should get rid of there egos and give someone such as yourself who is talented, creative, and intelligent 🤓 a shot 🥃. Anyway it's there LOSS !!!!
Appreciate the kind words, brother!
It's my pleasure @@ali-awada
That was awesome. I was expecting you would some day do this, after I first saw your Nedris video. You have captured the novel spirit excellently. Well done!
