If they get into my account, all they will access is a bill 🤣
Broke account wins!
This is social engineering and not a cyber security attack. Also you can setup 2 factor authentication on iPhone. Go into settings, tap user icon on the top, then turn on 2-factor authentication. Anyone trying to access your Apple account online would need a one time pin that is sent to your Apple device such as IPad, Mac, as well as IPhone. Do not be fooled into providing that code to anyone on the phone. Any real Apple Support will not ask for that information.
Local news giving out false information that Apple doesn’t support 2-factor authentication. 🤦♂️
This is an Ad for product Apple user don’t need. they cost a lot of money and do not protect against social engineering. The reason is because they can spoof real websites and they can change their URL faster than any security program can keep up.
Where did you hear them saying "Apple doesn't support 2FA"? I've listened to the clip a few times but can't find that bit.
Hackers can get around 2 factor. 🤷🏿♂️
Anything can be hacked. 😢
@@artofficial2010how?
She had 2-factor aurhentication on all her accts. It didn’t help. I am sharing a link. I hope CZcams doesn’t delete it. czcams.com/video/A73BdBxnYl0/video.htmlsi=bYWKaMvPlKUbXYvO
The best defense against scams is knowing the difference between what is legitimate and what is suspicious.
time to get one (antivirus/antimalware app)??? No, it's time to educate yourself about social engineering. NEVER rely on technology to completely protect you.
yup..Those companies get hacked also, that you pay to be protected
The best protection from scams is knowing the difference between legitimate and suspicious programs and websites.
@@boketh2728 legit/fake sms, email too.
This has nothing to do with which phone you have and everything to with the user falling for these email and texts which are not from a legitimate company. NEVER click on any link sent by anyone. Go to the site yourself and log in IF you think it is legit, otherwise just delete it and move on with your life. Stop being so gullible people. No company is contacting you this way.
Anyone who responds to @ericjohnson5637 listen to this comment he’s absolutely right about what he’s talking about.
Maga has been sending me text I can tell something is going on with my cell phone because it needs to be charged daily but I am not on it.
This kind of stuff can happen at any store even
I’ve gotten dozens of these and just deleted them.
They can attack me am broke 😂😊
Even without watching this video, I never fall for that stuff
This guy, as always is completely wrong. This is not even close to a cyber attack, and Malware would not stop a “social engineering” attack. Social engineering is one of the easiest to do and hardest to stop because it depends on the gullibility of the user.
You have local tech experts who can help you, like Ryan Ozawa and Myself, who can help keep our community safe. Please stop running these syndicated rubbish pieces. I swear this is the tenth one I saw
You're right Maleware can't stop Femaleware... not to mention other LGBTQWare. You're gonna need all of them apps.
@@shaggydawg5419 Dang fat fingers 🤣 I swear I typed it right and autocorrupt did that :P
You’re right, education about these scams is a much more effective method of combating them.
Apple should warn people about these scams , and the media should show example displays of what to look for on your email and text messages.
Exactly, it’s significantly harder for scammers to steal when enough people know what to look out for.
Bottom line be smart and don’t click on links in a text message or email!! Also don’t fall for calls from scammers!!
3 yrs age this started
Not a cyber attack. Some companies selling personal info other wise how the thugs know you even have a i phone or get your number??? Lmao.
Don’t attach cards to iPhones. No.
Soo creepy
keep your phone
stored in a lead sheath
when not in use
That’s not necessary, you can keep your phone safe simply be keeping an eye out for suspicious programs and websites and setting all updates to manual.
"What the Tech?" lol.
this is an old scam I encountered years ago
That link is a dead giveaway that it’s a scam. How does ANYONE fall for that? Bad grammar and a .info link???😂😂😂 Sign ME up.
This is also happening in Canada; I’m currently being targeted by my neighbours.
My messenger app is being manipulated by a third party. They are spying on thr people they hack
Team galaxy baby.
APPLE better do something as people get iphone for the security.
the phone is secure. Can't say the same about the users. You can't fix stupid. There is no technology that can provide 100% protection for idiots.
Any cyber attacks stealing apple accounts or samsung accounts they will go to jail any type of cyber attacks or fraud or scams
Is it only Tik Tok users?
I don't have social media still get these
Because IPHONES are now being made in INDIA 🤔
poor isheeps
Yet another reason l never bought into Apple products
MoptheMopther has it right. Faraday cages for your electronic devices.
We don’t need to go that far, we just need to use good judgment and educate ourselves on these scams and how they work.
Exactly why im team droid
Another reason why I won't have an iPhone
Internet deregulation and the lack of ANY oversight..... thank gop sycophants.
Politics has nothing to do with this and even if the government tightened online security as far as possible These scammers would still find back doors for stealing from people. What we need to do is use good judgment and educate ourselves about these scams so we can avoid them in the first place.
