Recently a scam scheme using bizum came out (at least here in Spain) in which people were tricked into sending money to other numbers, and then they'd get more money.
Thing is, they had in implemented so A would send money to B and then receive (more) money from C, with A, B, and C being victims in different stages of the scam. Since it worked the first few times, people trusted the scammer and then went in big. If the victim got suspicious early enough, they could retire with a profit, but, since that money came from another victim, you could end up getting prosecuted for it.

The real annoying thing is that if you report a scammer to FB, with clearly someone using friends account they’ve piggy backed on, and report it’s blatantly a scammer impersonating my friend, they don’t do anything. I reported someone recently 4 times and their profile and activity still remains. If you run an online organisation (eg FB, X, YT, Instagram etc) surely there is some central ombudsman and if you dilly dally, and don’t remove these accounts with obvious proof they are scammer, you should be hugely fined. It’s your platform and you should have some responsibility for what appears on it. Safely, both love and greed can weaken peoples senses, but that doesn’t detract from the evil s**ts that steal innocent peoples hard earned cash, as they are too bone idle to work themselves.

It was almost immediately that a screen shot of a digital currency daily earnings was sent and them saying they could help me so I could pay off my student loans. I almost bought into the scam until they sent me something to fill out my information and open an account that was in Chinese. The guy said he was in the Bay Area, but that he goes in between San Diego and The Bay for his Hotel job. He was persistent to get me to open an account and start 'earning', but with every mention of money and showing off his "wealth" I was more and more disgusted. Luckily they didn't get money from me, but I do worry about information they could grab from means other than from me willingly.
