I've been mixing metoprolol and salbutamol (albuterol), one for PVCs other for allergy asthma. No need to tell you how it ended. PVCs went thru the roof but in a very strange way I never felt before. So I ditched salbutamol (Ventolin) and my doc advised Symbicort (Budesonide/formoterol ) which is more of a long-lasting bronchodilator with a touch of anti-inflammatory corticosteroid. We'll see how I will do. So be careful when mixing two opposite types of meds as the side effects might be very unpleasant, i almost went mad thinking what the heck was going on inside my chest. And honestly, between PVCs and a little bit of hard breathing and wheezing, I chose the other (if it's mild to moderate), it will pass when the allergens are out of the air. Of course, my advice doesn't concern those with severe cases of asthma which are very very unpleasant when they lead to an attack.

How the hell do you remember all this and more?????
How come when I search google for the beta blocker definition it only defines it as working with the heart and not the lungs? This is what it says:
any of a class of drugs that prevent the stimulation of the adrenergic receptors responsible for increased cardiac action. Beta blockers are used to control heart rhythm, treat angina, and reduce high blood pressure.
How come it doesn’t say anything about the lungs?
