    The key to daily riding a sport bike is to have a strong core. You essentially lock your mid section into the forward tilt of the seating position. I can do that and hold the position indefinitely WITHOUT overtaxing my wrists. 250 mile days? No problem. Working out to get to this level is the problem for 90% of the riders out there. It takes dedication

      I'm over 60.
      The only thing I do is ride regularly and I completely agree that it's a comfortable riding position once your body is used to it.
      No problems with wrists, knees or neck with regular use. I admit that it's a riding position that felt wrong at first but, after the first month of riding, I wouldn't want it any other way.

      Riding a sport bike on the freeway or open country roads provides enough wind to offset the forward lean. That being said, I prefer an upright bike around town, with slower stop and go riding and can see the intersections better.. I have ( a few ) sport bikes, including one like this video. Ride a bicycle twice a week and will be 71 next month.

    This bike is so amazing and it’s why the street triple is such a special and rare bike in 2022. It’s not common anymore for naked bikes to be built off of proper sports bikes they’re usually a entirely separate platform. The Speed triple 1050 is a BEAST insanely fast etc but for me the Street Triple RS is the perfect amalgamation of road and track bikes. Only the MV Agusta Brutale 800 comes close …and the Naked BMW S1000 is epic but it’s a liter bike and it’s more common to see naked versions of liter bikes for whatever reason…but rare these days to see a naked version of a proper middleweight sports bike.

    Ever since I started driving cars 13 years ago I always said I want good brakes on my car. Sure, it can have lots of horsepower, but even more braking power, and I always appreciated driving cars with excellent brakes. My VW Golf Mk2 does not have that exceptional brakes, though. In fact, it is one of my recurring nightmares that I'm driving it, always at very slow speed for some reason, like on a parking lot, and pressing the brake pedal with everything I got, and the car is just not stopping... I hate it.
    All that to say this: I appreciate you always point out the importance of good brakes. I can relate to that.

    • @kristijandimovski410
      @kristijandimovski410 Před rokem

      This is a common misconception, all modern brakes regardless of caliper size and number will bring you to a stop in the same distance, the difference is overheating of the brakes, that's why sports car have larger brakes, tyres are what determine the braking distance.

      @Camel-from-Arabia Před rokem +1

      You right.
      765 is not even on the same level like legendary 675R.
      In modern middle class Ducati V2 or MV Agusta F3 800 are better choice.
      Triumph 765 price does not correspond to what it presents - the technical innovations of this motorcycle are quite limited.
      The price is exorbitant - you pay mainly for carbon fibers.

    No, it's not - the Panigale V2 is a better middleweight sport bike. More power, more torque, more electronic riding aids, better suspension, better brakes and a more inspired design. I've ridden both extensively, the Duc is way ahead.

    • @Sunedosa

      The V2 is 955 CC , not a fair comparison tbh and that displacement doesn't fit in the middleweight category. That's more like a literbike, weighs the same as one but has 45 less hp. Doesn't look as attractive then imo.

    The carbon rear section is stock. I think they could have done more with this, same power numbers as the 2013+ Daytona 675 that revs to 14500 rpm. No engine changes from the Street triple RS 765 the engine came from, a remap and extended limiter could have done enough. Not that 128 hp is a small number but MV provides 150 hp out the same volume/engine layout, 140 hp would be great.

If you think that Triumph couldn't make a reliable 765 cc 140hp engine i think you're wrong , the 2023 street triple is already at 130hp and with a full system/air filter/ecu tune you would be there already. 140hp from 765cc is not that big of a number, the GSX 750 did 141hp 22 years ago with reliability.
