We need more 80s singers and bands in 2024
Sade is eternal
It’s now 2024 and as sad as it is, for me IMHO, who got to enjoy these songs and singers, enjoyed. The 80s and 90s were the times. I don’t think anyone these days sings as this incredible woman did. This is classy and so high quality. One of my all time favourite songs. 10/10! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Sada is the best. I agree. And over the years, I have noticed that Shakira took a lot of "ideas" from Sada. If not mistaken, Shak wanted her Bass Player who's name I can't recall now..But Sada used to go barefoot, play guitar, had a video of a mermaid and a few other things. No one out-does Sada. The best band on any stage, even some of best bands say the same. I hope she comes back just one more time, but, I believe she is retired-at least from stage. She's been through a lot.

Saw her in concert in the 80s as a teenager and I don't think I've seen such sheer beauty since.

Yeah and from a musicians (bass players) point of view it's so simple but genius. It's basically just a repetition with a syncoped "One" every second beat. Millions of bass players probaly thought "Why did not I had this idea?!"

I have very few regrets in my life. One of the biggest ones is never seeing Sade in person. I LOVE everything about her. Listening to her music makes me feel younger and lifts my spirits if I am worried or upset about something. She is truly a special talent that makes our world a better place with all the joy that her talent and beauty provides us.
I have the absolute faith she'll do another tour during this decade. She can't leave us like that hanging for ever (hopefully 😊). In 2011, after the soldier of love tour, she said 'see you in 10 years'. So, who knows.. ? 😇

I'm glad I have lived to see all her performances in San Diego, LIVE, including this one! In my opinion, she and the entire band perform her songs even better live than recorded in the studio! The Sound and Visual Arts in her 4 concerts I have seen in San Diego probably were the best I have seen in my lifetime! She is the BEST! LOVE FOREVER!

She's a result of a fantastic integrated period of time in London, when the creative energy and endless nightclubs were in full strength. What a talent. We didn't care where you/your parents were from, we just thought of ourselves as Londoners. Wag, dingwalls, lacy Lady etc. Glad to have seen and felt it all.
Paul is a very under rated bass man, he lays some really smooth lines down on their live songs 👏👏👏

I've seen her on live in Hamburg back in the 80ties. First time I've seen an "clean stage" concert, no amps, no monitors, all in-ear monitoring, all wireless. Took a while for me to realize, that they actually played live and I was not in a faked full playback show ... ;)
