Sade is the real deal. She came on to the music scene before auto-tune. So she's nothing but pure talent. She uses technique, breath-work, and a real voice that doesn't need to be auto-tuned.

Sade is one of the most beautiful women In history. Sultry Class. The band is always so tight. They lay down a groove and you just can’t help but move. Unbelievable. I thank god my mom had me listening to Sade in the 80’s. I have loved all their work. Leroy on backup vocals I always felt should have had a phenomenal solo success. He is very good.

(been to all 4) Oct.13,1988 and October 2,1993 both at SDSU open amphitheater. July 26, 2001, & August 23, 2011, in Coors amphitheater in Chula Vista, San Diego, CA. (It was called Coors Amphitheatre and later Cricket and now it's called North Island Credit Union).

I can remember being around 17 I think. I found a copy of Diamond Life at a record shop. I played it and couldn't stop listening to it. I played it for some friends who didn't think it was anything special. It was the most soulful music id ever heard. It was terrific and rare to here a woman singing about taking care of her man.
