And then theres the excellent song writing and killer voice. Good god man, I hope to catch a show sometime. I havent heard real talent like this in music in a long time..
@Butch - you're so spot on in the old soul in the new body. However I'll argue that this isn't just what talent sounds like, there is something so much more special in that voice and soul that you identified. This is just pure music magic right here!

It’s like he has multiple super powers, his playing is just off the charts amazing and the soul in his voice is just hard to fathom. Always stop and make time to listen to him!
This kind of music is what you listen to when your soul hurts. You sit in the damp darkness for weeks with this on repeat and somehow manage to pull yourself out of the fog, solely by this mans words. Fucking amazing!

This is the first I've heard of Marcus, but I was hooked from the first word he sang.
Where have you been man?
I first saw him play with Craig Sorrells band when he was only 13. I was totally blown away. Thankfully I was able to hang out with his band a few times - all of them are excellent musicians!
Dartheomus Marcus was playing gigs when he was in grade school. He formed his own band when he was in high school. He has released 4 albums by age 22. He is an exceptional singer,writer and guitar player. I really like his band but these acoustic performances are my favorite. The really talented artists can perform solo and just singing and playing their instrument.

I have listened to this about 5 or 6 times in a row and I can not get past it. Don't want to let it go! WOW! I have heard him doing a lot of other songs in other videos, sets, etc, but never heard this one!!

Brian! Nail on head! Drove from EMPORIA Kansas to Ashville, North Carolina to buy some chandeliers from a Church. Months later, I found a vid. Of him playing .... At the SAME CHURCH where they showcased the same lights with white fabric cascading to the floor. My life its PACKED with coincidences which are anything BUT. He became yet part of my God inspired fabric!
