I think Cooper is well-behaved. He HELPS Dad off with his coat. He consistently finishes his people food, even if it's not his favorite meal. And he is happy to share the sofa and bed with the kids. Good boy!

I love this video, but as I was watching the beginning I thought to myself that Cooper needs some boundaries. I’m glad they sought out a trainer. Having a dog is a huge responsibility and a dog that size is like having another human around 😂 Glad to see Cooper responded well to the training. He’s a beautiful dog.
I felt the same way! I'm a vet tech, and Cooper is obviously a sweet, well-intentioned dog with no training whatsoever. He's the type of dog who at work would let me give him vaccines and draw blood without moving a stitch, then accidentally knock my ass right over because he wanted a hug. An absolute prime candidate for kind, positive-reinforcement training!

I’ve known a lot of bars that LOVE dogs. God rest his soul, but EVERYONE loved my Georgie. Every night Arby’s would expect me to come by, so they could give him a HUGE bag of chicken fingers. Nothing for me, but a HUGE bag for my boy. Every afternoon was dog biscuits covered in whipped crème by another place - and I would get scolded for not bringing him by. Taco Time always had plain Mexi Fries for him with a glass of water, and DQ loved to give him a tiny cup filled with whipped crème and dog safe toppings. He really was a treasure, and I’m glad people loved him.
God bless your little Georgie. I pray we get to see our little and big companions when we get to heaven!

I drag a 100 lb red nose pitbull with me everywhere as he is 🐕🦺 service. People get the the begeezes scared out of them when they see him in the grocery isle or just about anywhere. I get some really out there reaction or overreacting 😂 and my Murphy just look at them like "you ok?"😅
I cannot imagine 😄 how some folks respond to this lovely Great Dane Cooper! He is absolutely beautiful and wonderful as well as his owner. Dog people are my people and I absolutely loved this family video. Cooper brings so much to the table....😊 But I think 🤔 he walks away with some off the table as well ❤😂

Back when my husband was dog training, the first thing he'd tell the clients is that he wasn't there to train the dog, he was there to train them!. Training the dog is what the owners do, training the human is what the trainers do.

Of course it's chaos! Look at him! He's 200 pounds of pure love and joy! With a sprinkle of "play with me"! I understand that some people get scared of these dogs (I haven't met one so I'm unsure if I'm one) but look at Cooper! Look at that big face that just exudes "love me" energy!

This is so precious. I had three dogs and took them everywhere I went. They were my children. If you don't want my dogs you don't want me. Grandpa thank you for caring for this precious animal.

Love that this family put the effort into training. Everyone's happier, including the dog, which makes it a win-win all around. Dogs and animals in general are so much more intelligent than people give them credit for, and far too many people - some even well-meaning - believe physical abuse is the only way to teach. Positive reinforcement and consistency works every time.

I feel sure this got said…Cooper having a lovely old Irish grandad as a pet, is so very decent of him. Who else would love and cherish a stray grandpa like Cooper does? Taking him walks, letting him feed occasionally, and sometimes be with his grandchildren, which not all dogs might allow. Yes, maybe a little too much ‘the boss’, but an amazing dog. Take care all.
