@@robertagu5533 actually, while it would be a jedi artifact, it would also be cherished by sith if a jedi has the high ground because sith that survived their supposed death came back stronger.

Exar Kun's lightsaber also had the abilitiy to make ordinary people force sensitive by its own Power
the gauntlet doesn't seem to have a downside. Just limitations.
The downside would be pride for the user sith. Consensual duals and such, you would have to pin down the small print disclaimers on the gauntlets operation, if you leave your intentions up for interpretation by the gauntlet you could find yourself being struck down.
Being always consciously aware of your intentions in a way that doesnt cause the gauntlet to deactivate due to feelings of superiority complex and pride could be seen as a downside. Sith who never feel physical pain and always feel safe seem to dwindle in the darkside
@@lydiaives733 Fair. I guess thats a downside in the way sidious hated those artifacts. they make you weak by depending on them too much. Its still an odd one though. Seeing as it seems this artifact makes you weaker in the darkside and the only thing sacrificed is skill if anything. Weird for a sith artifact.
@@liamvt2i suppose its uncommon for sith to invest so much effort into protecting others, a warped sense of attachment maybe to keep his son safe from any harm even at the cost of what it means to be a sith, possibly.

Yeah the gauntlet didn't seem to have a price attached to it. Just it's own stipulations for use. That thing seems amazing
The mask definitely takes the cake as the most f***ed up sith artifact in this list.
The Muurs talisman always creeped me out, with the way it created rakghouls.

as far as i can tell, sidious didn't really teach vader anything, and was basically just sidious' lap dog. why make vader an apprentice and not just another inquisitor?
He taught him to obey i suppose and say 'yes master' 😂🤷♂️

Palpatine probably didn’t teach Vader because he knew how powerful in the force that he was even with getting burnt to a crisp and having all of his limbs hacked off. Palpatine knew if he would’ve truly trained Vader in the ways of the dark side that he could’ve easily become way more powerful than even Revan when he used both sides of the force. Palpatine needed Vader to feel like he was extremely powerful but not strong enough to beat himself so he could maintain his total power. Just as he told Anakin during the water show that Sith & Jedi are almost identical in every way especially their conquest for greater power. Palpatine had to play a very close long game to keep Vader from finding out about all of the deceptions that Palpatine put in front of Anakin to create him into Vader. Palpatine always knew that Vader had a tiny piece of Anakin within him and had to try to keep him down in despair so that he wouldn’t be proactive in trying to defeat Palpatine and avenge the wrongs that Vader did through the manipulations of his Sith Master.
Sidious probably thought it was funny.

The axe of adas in legends is unknown and the sword of Ragnos was in his tomb. The sword it's self might have been powerful but it's power isn't explored in depth so it's a unknown power

You know that Darth Nihilus's mask and Exar Kun's lighsaber are the actual most dangerous artefacts.
Yeah wear nihilus's mask he will posses you and consume the rest of the galaxy, but I have never heard of exar kun before.

Game Master for the Revised Core Star Wars game, there’s a selection of maybe 5-6 artifacts in the Sith book. Seeing that there was a lot of actual Sith artifacts out there, had to make a bunch of these. For instance, Haazen from the Jedi Covenant era, he had a bunch of weapons, made all those as well as giving them a Force bonus when all used together. Even made Palpatines Amulet of Supernovas. It’s fun for my players to have access to these items.

Joda is correct, dark side often produces internal pain and the only way to temporarily squash the pain is to accumulate more power....wich in the end is self defeating.

It sounded like the scepter and the gauntlet didn't really have any sort of drawback or curse to them directly.. I'd just go for the gauntlet
Question is: How would the gauntlet interpret the Rule of Two? And isn't it quite ... un-sithly to use it? After all, scheming and backstabbing - "cloak and dagger" - are very much part of makes a Sith. Can one become a really powerful Sith if he never does have to look over his shoulder?

Darth Nihilius mask was probably possesive like Darth Momin was. Difference might be that Nihilius was a wound in the Force while Momin could open a portal & regain his original body.

Well before Disney gutted it, there was 40+ years of world building done by fans in the form of the Expanded Universe.
