To further nitpick 🙂 None of the Viking ships actually "anchor." The just pull up in the slack water of the anchorage area and make just enough turns to keep station in the negligible current. Gettin a couple uhundred feet of anchor rode out, and curtailing the swing on an anchor would be time consuming.
Bee u tii fulll she's in all her glory. Amen sister safe travels an smooth waters an sailing. Even the birds r singing on your arrival. Blessings
What a beautiful morning to have the Viking Polaris come to Duluth
We just got off Vicking Polars Saterday in Thunder Bay Great Ship
Yeah !! A cruise ship Viking Polaris True North !
Yes it's a great day today for them to come into Port and to Duluth Minnesota
She sure is beautiful! Love these Viking ships! No salute anymore?
Not early in the morning.
Many of the guests were probably still asleep.
No horn salute while approaching the bridge. I was so looking forward to hearing the horn on this beautiful ship. 😢
Probably on departure later today!
Early morning arrival. Like the freighters, probably being respectful to those sleeping.
What time is it leaving?
That is a small baby size cruise ship 🛳️ compared to the giant ones in Southern California and Florida
A lot nicer inside and outside compared to those ugly, oversized cruise ships that do the SoCal and Florida circuits.
The Viking Polaris isn't 403ft long. It's 672ft (or 205m).
