AFCB vs Grimsby 2009 🍒 Not only did we stay in the football league but it stopped us from being liquidated
I'm so surprised this isn't on the list
I remember going mental in the north stand as big Fletch scored the winner right in front of me after the game sky sports news were interviewing us outside the ground as Grimsby fans appaluded us. 🍒 Typical how a club legend scored the winner
I'm in the same position as you, Swansea City Vs Hull City 2012/13 saved us from being removed from pretty much everything
I have to take my hat off to Bayern Munich for such a gesture. Fantastic show of support to struggling clubs
What about Brighton v Hereford in 1997? Brighton had recently had their historic Goldstone Ground sold with no replacement lined up. The club's finances were certainly not great, and for most of the season Brighton were rock bottom of what is now League 2. We managed to claw us some points and on the last game of the season Hereford were bottom and we were 2nd bottom. Of course the last fixture of the season was a match of death between the 2 clubs. If Hereford won, Brighton would be relegated from the football league. With no stadium and a dire financial record, if Brighton were relegated, it surely would have lead to the clubs dissolution. Thankfully, we drew 1-1, survived, and just 20 years later were promoted to the Premier league for the first time in the clubs history.
Dan Stabler was just about to say something similar aha
was expecting that match to be number 1, waited all vid for it
8:02 Shaun went to my secondary school...he’s come a long way!
Tim Dev he also makes a whole lotta money
What baryen did is legendary they deserve an award
Swansea vs Hull literally saved the swans from liquidation
Viennic🏴🇬🇧 thats all I have been thinking while watching this and a very iconic chip from James Thomas! YJB
Those benefit matches raise millions every year, and can really help struggling clubs. When Leeds was facing liquidation Man United should have land a hand to an old rival.
As a fck1 fan grateful to Munich for that game
@@swalico I'd rather watch Bundesliga the the english premier league
King why on earth would they do that?
@@kaihiggins725 the bigger clubs take a responsibility of care to smaller clubs. Just need to look at the first round of the pokal.
Why should they take responsibility for those clubs who can't afford to be run. Its stupid and can easily be exploited
No Burnley v Orient (1987)? Had Burnley lost, the club would have probably been folded.
7:06 Although we all call him Geoff, not Geoffrey, Horsefield was a legend in the hands of Birmingham, scoring a lot of goals when we were in the Prem from 2002 - 2006 :D
Great vid mate
great info
Really cool video! We absolutely love watching football videos, gaining new insight and creating our own football content.
Chelsea vs Liverpool in 2003.
Literally saved the club, with Abramovich paying off substantial debt and setting the foundations for a golden era.
Not even an honorable mention...
Honourable* say it there is clearly a big U in the word.
@@King_CovaThese platforms always adhere to the US way of spelling in which there is no 'U'..I often get flagged for spelling words correctly
@@King_Cova agreed but I've seen them cover that situation in at least two different vids 😂
@@simonforrest2522
No it's what happens when you set up your devices wrong. But that's what happens when you let a dyslexic write your dictionary.
@@King_Cova My device may be set up wrong but luckily my brain isn't .. I rely on my intellect and not a device
Swansea vs hull in 2003 to keep Swansea in the football league
Next video you should do biggest waste of talent XI
How embarrassing is that Genoa story 😂
Rivaldo's hattrick for Barca to qualify for Champions league the following year...without these goals possibly no Ronaldinho and no Messi...🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Brighton and Hove Albion vs Doncaster Rovers 1996/1997. That game saved Brighton from being relegated from the Football league and liquidating.
9:49 you misspoke there Mike, it was two years later. that's what makes it even crazier, cause there wouldn't even have been the theoretical possibility of Fulham playing the Europa League final in 2010 if they hadn't beaten City in 08.
You should make a video on times when injuries turned out good in other ways (e.g salahs and manes injury and Clynes injury
good day quarantinos
Man City-Middlesborough on the last day of 04/05 should have been in here. The game where David James ended up playing as a striker. If City had won that match (they missed a last-minute penalty), they would have qualified for the UEFA Cup instead of Boro who then went all the way to the final
Leicester vs Watford avoiding relegation and winning the league the next year
Exactly. Greatest comeback story of all time, in any sport. And I'm American and partial to Tiger Woods. Leicester is a bigger deal. Even in the US.
The orient game should definitely be on a part 2. Had Burnley not won we would have folded and never gone to Europe in 2018.
That is class from Bayern
Fluminense 2x1 Atletico Mineiro (2009)
With 7 rounds remaining to the end of the Brazilian serie A, Fluminense had a 99% chance of being relegated to the second tier. After that win, the team won other 5 games in a row and tied the last game, barely escaping relegation. The year after that, 2010, Fluminense won the serie A title.
Curitiba, the team that drew the last game, was relegated because of that result, and that year was the 100th birthday of the club
Palace vs Sheffield Wednesday in 2010? Palace needed a point or win to stay up and stay I business? Went on to get promoted 3 years later and haven't gone down since.
4:30 actually I’m pretty sure it was the Sheiks money that made it all possible
Leicester 2-1 West Ham 2014/15 season , Leicester found themselves in the relegation zone prior to this match and this game made them loose just once in 9 games winning 7 and drawing one which saved them from relegation and went on to win the premier league the following season
Burnley in the orient game saved them in the league and are now a stable pl side
the great sir alex consider as a godfather of football in my country
Do football daily take suggestions?
Can anyone tell me what this background music is??
I believe Diomansy Kamara is a Senegalese international rather than Cameroonian. Also not sure why there are images of Chievo Verona instead of Venezia lol
The Bayern Munich one is brilliant, if only more clubs had that mentality
Where is Swansea City Vs Hull City 2012/13
Where are any games not from england
Chelsea v Liverpool 2003
what about Bournemouth vs Grimsby?
Why did you use photos of Chievo Verona rather than Venezia?
Because they don't know anything about Italian football or european football outside of the UK
What about the first player from every foreign country to play in the Premier league or English football in general?
Sheffield Wednesday vs Palace in 2010
6:30 let's not say that, one could come of with many reasons to not wish that all big clubs are like Bayern!
Good video
Uppa county
9:25 kamara is from senegal not cameroon
2nd one confused me so much
Thats not Venezia!!!!!
It's Chievo Verona...
Go on Fulham
Roy esendu wycombe wanderers in the cup against Leicester
chelsea vs liverpool 02-03 - if chelsea didn't win they wouldn't have got champions league and abramovich likely wouldn't have bought the club.
And Diomansy Kamara isn't Cameroonian he's Senegalese
When will you callab with HITC seven
Already have
@@peterjennings6072 that was hitc sport
One you might not know about Grimsby 2-0 Lincoln if that games didn’t happen then Chris mosey wouldn’t of left then we won’t of had Danny cowly and we know the rest
Liverpool vs Barcelona 4-0
If it wasn’t for that game they wouldn’t have a ucl last season and their season would’ve been a failure and they wouldn’t have the confidence they have now
You're talking literal rubbisg
leicester city vs west brom 2014/15 to keep leicester up
Second first

Palace 2-2 Sheffield Wednesday saved palace from liquidation how is getting relegated from the prem a game that saved a club from premier league relegation worse than liquidation . Ludicrous
