Perfect engine, perfect drivetrain, perfect speed, perfect everything about the GT-R~ Idc what people say about it, 12 years later and this is still probably one of the best sports cars ever made. The dedication of the people who built this thing has to be commended~ I agree that there is nothing wrong with driving a GT-R in this day and age of sports cars ~~

I do that in my Maxima too feels weird not to. Kick my shoes on the side of the car.
This thing handles incredibly well on dry pavement. Amazing car, especially if you buy one lightly used for $60-80k

...what transmission number are you on for a "lightly used" example? #2? #3? If it still has the original transmission, can you ask for more of a discount as you will probably have to replace it soon after purchase...

@@jrobles1019 I have a 2004 G35 basically a 03 Nissan Skyline 350GT. These cars run forever and i beat the crap out of it every drive. 12 years is nothing for a Nissan. Mexico runs Old Nissan Taxis from the 90s. Taxis get a hard life. They haven't retired them because those cars don't die!
As you pointed out Topher, it's incredible that this car is now considered analog by today's standards. I remember when it was called the 'playstation car' when it was new.
Yeah in 2009, it was super revolutionary in terms of technology, and 12 years later, it's definitely outdated, but in a good way~ It has aged very well in my opinion.

I drove one on a track a couple of times, just a few laps but it's amazing how you can feel what every tyre is doing through the steering wheel. The grip is insane to, it wants to tear the road apart

The constant spinning of the turbos while cruising sounds really nice tbh
I remember in a Japanese preproduction car Nissan engineers took it out on a closed hwy in a heavy downpour and were going 150 mph! They continued at this speed for several miles. The car lost traction a few times from hydroplaning but the car's traction control quickly enacted and kept the car in a straight line.
That's how amazing the AWD system in the GT-R is~~ Nissan's engineering in this car is mindblowing, I swear.

This has been my dream car since I first saw one. Sounds so aggressive!! But I drive standard and don’t know much about “manual mode”. Also no crazy cards also 😂 doing 60-80km/hr in 2nd gear seems and sounds so high to me!

Definitely needs a seventh gear. I test drove one and it was more comfortable than I thought it would be. It sure felt fast on it's feet.
The GTR will always look beautiful with performance that puts a smile on your face.

I've had the luck to drive one of these GTRs earlier this year, very nice cars! And they are a solid platform for tuning! I personally prefer a R34, but most definitely wouldn't mind having all the modern tech and handling from this generation of GTR!! They launch solid, handle well!

Ladies and Gentlemen,this right here...is one of the greatest sounding cars on the planet.IDC what ANYONE says,this thing is EARGASMIC.....I'm sure people will mention Ferrari's,which rightfully sound like a symphony to your ears...But this car gives you shivers down your spine (especially when tuned properly).Something I haven't experienced from any other car.

Probably the first GTR driver to ever play music on those Bose sound system, I've been super curious on how they sound. Although listening the speakers in action through this video is not enough to have a conclusive thought, I think they would sound really good in person. You know sometimes I would want to listen to music before I let her rip with an open valve ;)
the Bose system sounds okay in the GT-R, I would say my old 2011 IS250 has a better system. when I am driving the GT-R I normally just listen to the engine lol.

That gtr has 2 air intakes with 2 throttle bodies for more air and for more power with twin turbos rather than other v engines like v8 engines with a single throttle body. Nissan was so clever to add 2 intakes with 2 throttle bodies to make the car more powerful with twin turbos. Good job Nissan 👍🏼
Not sure that really adds to the power output much. One big throttle body could've done the same

My G37 has 2 throttle bodies and 2 intakes as well. It sucks that I have to to buy 2 filters though. It's their design philosophy for the VQ37.

I’d like to say to all those claiming it looks dated, I went out to grab a coffee in my GTR LM20 this afternoon and it received WAY more attention than the many Porsches, Aston Martins, Jaguars etc in the vicinity. A bunch of guys even breezed past a Ferrari without much notice to take photos of mine.
I sure love that blue. Looks, at least on video, similar to that amazing purple-hued royal blue color a lot of BMWs have.
