Who else is glad that Ink got one of the guys who make the Death Battle tracks to make one for this episode?
This is definitely one of my favourite fights you’ve guys made, I love how you used a lot of Paper Mario’s arsenal such as the cloning block and the giant fan, as well the great voice acting and character portrayal for Sonic, My favourite line is definitely “Beams of light? You're gonna have to GO FASTER THAN THAT!" Such a great line. Overall a really great fight and I rewatch it from time to time!
This fight actually came from Crossover Colosseum
Lightning Bolt:
- The very same lightning bolt Mario has used in Mario Kart (And Mario Tennis)
- Mario has used it outside of the race track to shrink and weaken his opponent
Did anyone not find it dumb having sonic say “this will silence you” to a mute character
And it was clever, as he sent him to the zone of the "silence".

This battle goes needlessly hard yet is faithful to the personalities of the characters. I've already seen it years ago on Crossover Colosseum, and I still can't get over how good this animation is. 🌟

Why mario usually animated as a weak human? Why?
Because the guys from Smash bracket have some rules, although, I do consider that they're doing it wrong, saying that Mario is just a normal human by his appearance has the same effect as saying that Goku and SuperMan are humans too.
But, I have good news, I found a Alternate ending that is well animated and with Mario winning. 😉
