After another large amount of time I finally finished the second part of Battle of Sprites. I have to admit it mainly took me so long because of me losing motivation sometimes and generally having to do lots of stuff lately (school, friends etc.) In order to post more frequently I want to keep videos a bit shorter (~4 - 5 min.) from now on so that me losing motivation is less probable. Anyways I hope you enjoy this one as much as possible!

Mario using the Chaos Emeralds to PowerUp shows how much trust is between Mario and Sonic in some perspective. I love the concept of them being able to use each other's powerups 😭💕
He only did that because he didn’t want Mario walking around with the Crystal stars and star spirits which is how he activates his súper and hyper forms normally

I hate the fact almost everyone is calling this animation inaccurate, and certain characters being buffed by other power-ups. Sonic doesn't use the fire flower nor does Shadow use the ice flower either. That's kind of a given. It should be obvious that the Goku and Vegeta could not be pushed past their base states by other Anime characters (The exceptions are the Sonicverse and Marioverse) and this was made entirely for practicing his animating skills, and our enjoyment. That's a given!

@@SpacePea Yeah, it really sours the experience seeing the comment section blow up because Goku and Vegeta were pushed into transforming and Mario and Luigi used the chaos emeralds. That's slightly hypocritical because again, Sonic and Shadow technically shouldn't be using the flower power-ups either by the consensus I see here. (Ik the prereq's for the emerald usage, but Mario could become acclimated to chaos energy if he hangs around it long enough and harnesses it.)
If I had a critique of this animation, the only thing that truly bothered me was the aura effects, as they look a bit solid. However, you were noticeably improving this in your upcoming animation. Can't wait to see it!

@@SpacePea Alright, so I finally decided to give spriting a try on my own. I'm attempting to use the JUS SSJG Goku sprite sheet but it seems to be overwhelming my program (I have CC) with its massive size and various colors. How exactly did you cut the sprites out?

Mewtwo MB well they needed an edge to catch up to sonic, Shadow, goku, and vegeta’s level and turning hyper as well infusing their own elemental abilities into those forms was what they needed to be on par (if not, a little above) the others. I mean if they can use the power of the chaos emeralds they can use the master emerald’s power as well.

Using the master emerald along with the chaos emeralds to go from Super to Hyper is actually pretty good reasoning.
It at least finally gives the master emerald something to do.

The Master Emerald was always involved. You needed to take the Chaos Emeralds to the Master Emerald Shrine in Sonic 3 and Knuckles to achieve Hyper Sonic.

• Dark Mario vs dark sonic, I’ve always wanted to see that and I love how you made Dark Mario go full on Nappa with that mouth cannon
• Mario and Luigi having access to the emeralds as well as the master emerald to turn super and hyper
• Super Mario and Super Luigi vs Super Sonic and Super Shadow
• Luigi’s face when seeing the others transform was hilarious
• and the soon to be fight of Hyper Mario and Hyper Luigi vs Hyper Sonic and Hyper Shadow vs Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Goku and Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Vegeta
I really hope that all these characters gets fusion. A battle between Gogeta or Vegito vs Shadic vs Marigi (the fusion of Mario and Luigi) would be pretty epic.

I gotta admit, you TOTALLY nailed the ssj3 transformation!
The fact you no only include god vegeta,but also new forms like fire Fleedway,ice shadow and dark Mario.
And include god goku new ability from DBS broly,makes this the best sprite battle out there.
Also include original matches like gravity Luigi vs fire fleeway,vegeta vs luffy,Goku vs grey and goku vs shadow.
I just can't describe much more this battle.
I hope the next and last part satisfied everyone,seems everyone is going at full power.
If would be great if everyone join forces to stop mecha sonic seems he's coming back for revenge.

Seeing them join forces would honestly be really cool, like the three teams are still standing and are about to end it but then Mecha sonic just crashes the party

Honestly, this might be the most logical conclusion. So the animator avoids starting a war with the Mario fan base, Dragon ball Fanbase and the Sonic fanbase.

I like how Mario and Luigi can somehow tap into the Chaos Emeralds's powers and can turn Hyper as well.
Goku and Vegeta basically didn't know the Super Forms from the Emeralds can give the Users Invulnerbility from taking damage but not so much when Going SsjGod.
Luigi's face when Everyone is going all max out with their Powerful forms.

SpacePea take however much time you need with part 3. I’ll wait for another 11 months or more for a clean animation.
Things you can add and do:
Once you finish with part 3 make a teaser trailer two weeks before it’s released to hype it up and so you can relax for a while.
Add more 3D Sprite animations
Make every transformation feel special in it’s own right like SSJ God. I liked how clean it looks and whenever I watch this part over and over again I think about SSJ God. The aura is so Clean and AWESOME.
If you plan on making a part four to this, end part 3 at the best time (Shadic arrival, Ultra Instinct, Vegito, etc.)
Let transformations last a little bit longer
Make part three a premiere besides make it an actual video. (Live Reaction)
