It loos great! Would have loved to see it with the bumper on! To be honest I never even noticed the circuit edition having the painted GR-Four painted on the Intercooler.
I upgrade to a SXTH Intercooler on my Corolla GR. I love it.. runs much lower IATs,no plastic tanks and much more durable. It’s a great mod even stock tune doesn’t heat soak
I love your passion to make your car unique. Unfortunately this is a horrid mod. Painting a intercooler actually dramatically reduces its efficiency. So in a sense you will now see hotter inlet temps and overall poor performance. Your next step is to buy an upgraded intercooler that actually aids in overall performance and drive ability.
I appreciate that. I do agree to a point, and that is why I did very light coats of paint so it only covered the very front face of the fins and didn't over paint it so paint penetrated through and coated the fins. Since the fins are still paint free other than the front face they will still be mostly just as effective. I do plan on an IC upgrade at some point and I'll get a black one to get that part covered so I can just paint the red GR-FOUR on it.

It’s going to looks bad when it will start to peal off.
By that time I'll be looking at an upgrade. I'll see how it handles my upcoming 6k mile road trip.
