A look at the Captain America nemesis two pack of Baron Zemo and Arnim Zola as well as a comparison to previous Zemos and a surprise visit from Cobra Commander
My box set arrived a few days ago. I was not happy that they paired Baron Zemo, a vital and needed character, with a THIRD variant of an already existing character (Arnim Zola). It would have been much nicer to have included the Melter instead of Arnim Zola, to help build the Masters of Evil team. The worst part is that I customized the older Arnim Zola figure I had using the same Kirby art for the face. What I DO like about this new Arnim Zola is that they're using comic book accurate colors. I HATE when Hasbro uses that ugly, dark, mustard-colored faux gold paint like they used to ruin Nova (Richard Rider). I love the comic book accurate colors. The latest Vision, for example, pops off the shelf and looks far better than the older metallic finish one (I never did understand why they gave him a metallic finish). The PROBLEM is that they gave Arnim Zola a two-tone color scheme. His shirt is MUCH brighter than his legs and it just looks WRONG. It stands out so bad it makes me hate the figure. I can't just not see it. It stands out so badly. If they had painted the legs to be as bright orange as his shirt he'd have been perfect since they even got his control device the correct color as in his original appearance in Capt. America #208. As much as I love the brighter colors and accurate yellow instead of ugly gold, I think I'll stick with my older one. Duller in color overall, and it has that hideous gold, but at least it's uniform in color as he is in the comics. I may just repaint the gold on the old one yellow.

Well it always was BS. There is no way that can be an actual reason nor can people really believe that. Yes the world is very very sensitive nowadays but people saying every hood is related to the Klan bunch of tards. Hasbro is just really lazy and doesn’t really do what people ask, they do what they want.

4:04 Curious why they keep assembling these upper boots on the wrong legs when the figure's render shows which leg they're supposed to go on; render shows these boots on the opposite legs with the dimples on the outside instead of on the inside. It gives the lower legs an unnatural curve.

The Joe team says that everything is in play when it comes to making figures, I'd assume that would include a hooded CC.
