Absolutely love this set. I bought it mostly for Arnim Zola since I have the other Zemo, but was pleasantly surprised by him. The unmasked head sculpt looks awesome, I have him with that head holding the mask. I also think this is our best Zola, even though it’s not too different from the rest. Good review man! Also, you killed it with the photography!
Whilst this set isn't super high on my priority list, I'd be lying if you're review hasn't tempted me. I've always loved the higher ranking Hydra characters and Baron Zemo is one of my all time favorite Marvel villains, and the version from a couple years back would probably make my top 10 Marvel Legends list, so having his father to go alongside him on the shelf is tempting. I've skipped most of the Hydra characters we've had recently like Madame Hydra and Crossbones since to me they looked like let-downs, Strucker looked solid but I just happen to not be that fond of his character, but Red Skull, Zemo and Zola I like a lot, plus I started collecting in 2017 so I missed that original BAF.
I'd like to see The Mad Thinker and his Awesome Android, maybe a Puppet Master and Alicia Masters 2 Pack. I'm a fan of obscure characters. I was very excited to get Razorback and The Human Fly. Bring on the weird!
Great review Xmanny, thanks for your efforts with this one. I'm old school. Hit me with Zemo, and I am there. I love these types of classic characters. I wish ML would do more of them. Imagine if ML did a nostalgia wave to include some of these characters from the sixties like the Executioner, the Melter, Red Ghost, or Mad Thinker? How about the Frightful Four?
14:57 It's interesting that they made new thighs for the Red Skull base buck when there are other figures that could've used new parts. Like Vision, Angel, and Ka-Zar needed new forearms and Cable a new right arm. Also, the upper boots were assembled on the incorrect legs. His and Johann's are curving the wrong way. Proof is in the render that Dan Yun posted on X, where those parts are on the opposite legs. In fact, other figures using these upper boots, Wonder Man, Molecule Man, and Hank Pym, all have render images on their packaging that show the boot tops on the other legs. The Dormammu figure, with a variation of these boots, has them on the correct sides.
The alternate unmasked head looks exactly the same as the Xenmu BAF wave version of the Red Skull's head. The head shape and facial features looks exactly the same.

Have you ever seen the M.O.D.O.K tv show it’s hilarious I would love for them to do the M.O.D.O.K’s crew that he was putting together, the Melter, Angar the Screamer, Pound cake, Tenpin they already done Armadillo, I’ll go for any new Villain Graviton , Mosses Magnum, a better Hood, Attuma, puppet Master, unicorn, Griffen ,Owl, Jester, Steel Serpent , Mad Thinker Awesome Android, Red Ghost and the Super Apes, Transformed Captain Ryptile, Kraken, Looter, Son ‘s of Serpent’s,Flag Smasher and the Ultimates ,Zodiac Bi-beast Zzaxx , Tyrannus come on Hasbro you got a lot of work ahead of you.
Maybe another master of evil two pack. Thrown in the classic villain, crossbone or an updated Madame Hydra with head. Agree Zola is the weaker of this two pack some update articulation would have gone a long way. Still planning to get it later on…
I presume the alternate head for Zemo is actually for his son? As in the comics, dad Zemo has his mask stuck to his face, and son Zemo is the one who looks like a zombie.
Man I have such a soft spot for the old-school wacky Kirby villains. MODOK, Zemo, Zola, Skull, Xemnu, et al. Love this!

I bought and enjoyed this 2-pack. However, I think, at the very least, Hasbro could have given us Zola with pinless double jointed limbs.
